Went to Hong Kong express tonight for a meal. Our starters came which were lovely but then we waited for at least 10 minutes for our starter plates to be taken away .in this time the opposite table had their starter, finished them and then were given their main course. The waitress finally asked if we were finished and did we want anything else .we told her we had not had our main course yet so she rushed off and a minute later two waitresses appeared with our mains .both were as dry as a bone and one was actually burned to a crisp .when we complained we were told they would take one of the main courses off the bill and they gave us a free curry sauce to eat with the fried rice .we left both main meals and when the manager asked why and we told him that we could not eat them because they were hard dry and unedable he then asked in a sarcastic manner how would you like your chicken pink? .no we would like our chicken cooked but still soft and not burnt not brick hard and as dry as a bone .Will definitely not be returning here even with the price of one main course being taken off the bill we still paid 36 pounds for a plate of soup 6 prawns a plate of chips and 2 tiger beers .not exactly good...

Food is bland and tasteless which is amazing considering how much fat, garlic and onion all these dishes are swimming in. Average of 8-9 pound a dish the portion sizing is appropriate for a 3 year old if that 3 year old was the size of a woodlouse. Please if this is your only option at 4am on a Wednesday in January then fine take it just make sure you've had a meeting with your financial advisor before hand. If you are anywhere near sober at any decent time of day use any other Chinese in the area because even lucky house (where even Ethiopian children wouldn't eat) would be more worth your time and money then Hong...

Shocking considering there were only 3 groups of customers including us. We then had to listen to the staff having a very heated argument clearly regarding the order of food coming out. When we asked a server where our food was he shrugged it off as "they are cooking a big load of food now, so I'm sure yours will be in that." We then had to hear one of the staff using appalling swear words whilst still bickering with the chefs. Considering we had our 5 year old granddaughter with us this was disgraceful. We instantly put our coats on and left and certainly will not be going back to this awful...
