No words, absolutely disgusting place, food all under the tables and cloths all dirty, toilet was basically flooded and floors soaking wet the smell was vile. Children and babies crying and making so much noise making this “cafe” not even feel like a cafe, so already an awful start. Don’t get me started on the staff, very rude staff member who brought our drinks, spilt the tea across the table and didn’t even apologise just laughed, happily came back for the money though! I could see all the staff judging and watching us as we were at the back, not a great atmosphere they make you feel uncomfortable.. had a steak pie and it tasted awfully frozen, chips were awful and rock hard, carrots and peas had no taste, tasted like they came straight from a can and slapped into a microwave for 10 seconds, partner had the cheese and ham toastie and was disgusted, no flavour what so ever, staff in the back were shouting and swearing so everyone could hear, they are not professional. My niece also worked here a while ago and ended up working and when I picked her up she’d stated she had worked 56 hours that week as we know we pick her up after working, and she was on a break at of £7 an hour, they deducted her wage and instead of giving her the money she worked for and then changing her wage for the next week they decided to take £122 out of her pay! So not only an awful business but a scam business at that. Will also be putting in a claim soon to report this business to HMRC and open an investigation as it’s illegal to do what they had done, my Niece worked 56 hours on a £7 an hour wage so entitled to £392 but had her wage deducted to £4.81 an hour x 56 £270, warning to anyone offered a job, will eventually recover this...
Read morestart our short holiday break at the Lindale Cafe as usual great breakfast and a great price for a holiday resort. Dont know what we'd do if we got here and no Lindale Cafe as its an institucion for us how things change visited on monday and asked for 1 and a half sausage sandwiches with red sauce when they came the bloke threw a sache of red sauce on the table i said id need more he said rudely they were 5p each. i said surely if im having 1 an a 1/2 sandwiches its pretty obvious id need more. I asked why they didnt just have a bottle as it would be easier and he said cause customers 'acting out shaking a bottle' people put too much on 😮 i told him it was petty but he was very abrupt. Tbf it wasnt the charging for the red sauce just his atitude. I told him i review places i eat and he was like whatever and he said thank you very much sarcastically. So they will no longer get any custom off me and i wont take family and friends there in future. i feel sorry for the lady with the tattoo as...
Read moreWho said dreams don't come true! You need to visit Blackpool's answer to a mitchelin star restaurant, the tea is strong 'like the waitresses', the fruit shoots are chilled 'not served at room temperature', and the food is very nice and all at a reasonable price!! The decor leaves nothing to be desired, especially if you like a little green on green! This really is a hidden gem, away from the hussle and bustle of the main strip. Allegedly, the best thing to be found down the back streets of Blackpool; obviously, this I can neither confirm nor deny... But what I can confirm is that the decorator would please many a Leprechaun... and, if you want a place to sit down and eat lunch, then the Lindale Cafe offers all that and more... The only negative I could see, and its not a bad one unless you overdue a visit to the throne room, there is just one toilet, so don't leave it till you drop folks!! If you're on the look out for a place to eat in Blackpool, then this cafe is definitely...
