I’m a regular customer at lord sandwich for almost 3 years now, i absolutely love the lady but the man is so rude unprofessional and have a disgusting attitude and behavior!!! he had been rude multiple times but i always thought maybe just a bad day but the last time i went there with my boyfriend it was unacceptable!!!
while my boyfriend was ordering he had an emergency call he needed to pick up but he kept ordering normally… that man said he can’t have phone calls inside the shop! My boyfriend thought at first maybe he meant the service is bad but apparently no! it’s because he just didn’t like the fact he was ordering and talking on the phone in the same time and was pointing at us while talking very rude!!! How ridiculous!
Then we felt really disrespected and asked to cancel the order and in our way to leave and he literally said don’t come back again and kept yelling at us next to all his customers outside!!
I was in absolute shock why he had to take it really that far!! what a shame that i like that sandwich but he lost a...
Read moreIt's disgusting, this place has no hygiene. Went there today to order a panini and the man began doing the sandwich without gloves, while touching money and other stuff. He was touching the bread and I could see the mark of his fingers there. Also, as the fillings were a bit far so he had to stretch to grab them and while doing this I could see his sleeves inside the food and his arms..just disgusting. Even the sausages and bacon were grilling near the floor, in a small and dirty grill (we could clearly see that the grill was not cleaned in ages (and I went in the morning,so things were supposed to be cleaner!) I decided to tell him he should wear gloves and imagine what he said! "Are you telling me how to prepare food? Really? Just leave my shop, I will not serve you, go away!" Worst experience ever, I don't recommend anyone going there, dirty place and rude...
Read moreThis is a little gem of a sandwich shop that's been around for years. I've noticed a few comments about how the owner didn't wear gloves at one stage, but I can safely say he wears/wore them. I bought a toasted chicken mayo and salad sandwich, which was tasty enough. There's always a queue (the shop is tiny, and seats are only available outside) but that's because he makes the sandwiches fresh. And although the ingredients may not be excellent quality, it's still better than a Tesco or Asda sandwich, and it doesn't have a ton of extra/added preservatives. I'm sure most people will still opt for Tesco's £3 meal deal because of value for money, but if you want a freshly made, warm and tasty lunch, then this is the place for you. The lady at the till can get a little confused at times (make sure you re-confirm your order), but they're...
