Customer service absolutely shocking! I placed an order on the app at 5pm for nang chicken. An order of £24 The order said 60mins (absolutely fine happy to wait) I waited an hour and a half with no delivery I then called the shop to ask were my paid for food was to be greeted with a very unpleasant man screaming down the phone at me before I could even ask how long my food was going to take
The staff member who I assume was the chef said he had 25 people screaming and shouting at him at the shop and people at the shops orders take priority over people sat at home in the warmth. (That really shouldn’t be the case)
I said if that’s the case they should be putting a longer wait time on the app or calling people to let them know about the wait on food, he said he doesn’t have control to do that.
He stated he was extremely busy and said my order had not even been put on, I then asked how long it would be he said it would at least be on other half an hour before it would even be put on to be cooked meaning I’d be waiting over 2 hrs for some chicken and chips, I asked for it to be cancelled and refunded and he said he would take 48 hrs to receive as you can imagine I’m not only disappointed I’ve not received my food but extremely disappointed in the rudeness and lack of customer service from the person on the other end of the phone who did not even give me an apology. Rang on the night phone was off been off every day since. I have emailed, sent messages on Facebook and instagram they have been read. No one has responded. Not the first issue I’ve had with them, my food came 3 hours late was told half of the order was missing because it was the last delivery and the shop was closed. Rang up next day found staff to be unhelpful and rude. Rang sister company dope, spoke to a manager who apologised and said to state my name on next order and would get some extras for the poor service and to cover the food we payed for and didn’t get. Did this, nothing extra came. Then you closed, thought on re opening customer service issues would be fixed but apparently they just turn the phone off now. It’s a shame really because the food is nice. When it comes and is correct which I think has been once when it first opened. Have ordered 3 times since and always an issue. Read moreReally disappointing! Ever since we saw a food reviewer give this place glowing reviews, we have been desperate to visit. Travelled almost an hour and 30 minutes. Ordered and food was ready in 10 minutes. Got food back to the car and was massively disappointed. Ordered Korean thigh bites. Couldn’t chew the chicken as it was so dry, nice flavour but just inedible. Also ordered some K pop fries which had a sweet sauce with chicken and cheese. Again chicken was so dry. Actually broke two forks trying to stab the chicken ! Lastly the brisket which cost approx £9.50 which is what I’d been looking forward too. The amount of oil it was swimming in wasn’t pleasant but the taste was totally overshadowed by the saltiness of it. It was so salty it was inedible. I spent £23 and my mate spent £20 and we ended up throwing at least £30 of food away. Staff weren’t particularly friendly or chatty.
