Hello there, fellow beer enthusiasts! If you're on the hunt for a pint of delicious brew in Brighton, look no further than the North Laine Brewery. Nestled in the heart of the city's quirky North Laine neighborhood, this brewery is a true gem. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of hops and barley. And let me tell you, the beer here does not disappoint. The North Laine Brewery offers a wide range of brews, from classic ales to experimental concoctions. Whether you're a fan of hoppy IPAs, smooth stouts, or anything in between, there's something here for every palate. But what really sets this brewery apart is the passion and care that goes into each and every pint. The brewers here are true artisans, using only the finest ingredients and taking the time to perfect each brew. And the results speak for themselves - the beer here is top-notch. And let's not forget about the atmosphere. The North Laine Brewery is like a cozy little haven, with exposed brick walls, wooden beams, and plenty of cozy seating. It's the perfect spot to kick back with a pint and catch up with friends. Overall, the North Laine Brewery is a must-visit for any beer lover in Brighton. It's like a little slice of heaven for the taste buds. So grab your mates, head on over, and cheers to good beer and good times.

Visited a couple of weeks back on a Friday night and was very impressed by the atmosphere and decoration. As soon as you enter the North Laine Brewhouse everything feels very premium and trendy with large metal sculptures, an ice cream truck food bar and loud music, I wouldn’t question you if you told me it was in the heart of London. As lovely as this trendy london feel is, it unfortunately comes with the trendy London prices with their cheapest cider coming up to the £7 mark. If they offered student discount on this I feel it would have been ok for me but I was informed that they don’t do student discount on weekends. It’s a great experience to go for a drink here (if you’re looking for pre-drinks before heading to the club this place is for you) but sadly due to the pricing I’m unlikely to return- that is at least on a weekend as I am yet to experience their food and student prices. Overall, this pub is great if you’re looking for a trendy London feel and something a bit more unique than your classic British pub. Just be prepared to pay London prices.

Came in on a Sunday for dinner and I had the bbq garlic and caper butter cabbage which was a special as they had run out of the veggie wellington and it was the best thing I’ve ever had on a roast! As a veggie I get a bit sick of having meat substitutes on roasts so this was super fresh and new and tasted amazing and was the star of the meal. The yorkies take second place they were so big and crispy! It was a great vibe in the pub and the staff were super lovely and helpful when it came to choosing drinks, and they had loads of beer options which are brewed on site for other beer fans! 10/10 food and vibes will defo be back

My friends and I went for a roast on a Sunday, 27/02/22. It took over 1.5 hours for the roast to not arrive. We asked several times to see how long it would take for the food to be served, they told us another 10/20 mins and if it doesn't arrive within that time then come to the bar again. After 1.5 hours, we finally decided it was time to head out as we were hungry and appalled at the service. Upon arrival the bar staff who took our order should have mentioned the wait would be X mins/ hours long for food. This would have saved us so much wasted time as we could have gone elsewhere. In addition to this the staff members who we interacted with weren't friendly at all, they avoided eye contact so we couldn't even get anyones attention and seemed like there was only one guy who was actually doing the work. He was the only one going back and forth serving the food and talking the plates back. Considering how busy the place was and how many employees there was that day having only one person serving food was ridiculous. We could see into the kitchen and there were people just standing and staring back at us, what was going on? It seemed like we were a hindrance to the bar staff even when we were still being pleasant when we finally decided we'd like a refund. We really did give them the benefit of doubt as it was really busy and we weren't the only ones waiting for food hence why we waited so long, however it still should not taken that long. Multiple people complained when we went to go to the counter so it seemed like we weren't the only ones with the issue. The soft drinks are wayyy too overpriced as well, over £4 for a coke, ridiculous. Finally the toilets were disgusting. When going down the stairs, it just STANK of urine and in the ladies it just stank of puke. So overall this brewhouse is not the place unless you love waiting for food that will never arrive. I hope this establishment improves itself however this is a place I will not be setting...

I attended this establishment to do Axe Throwing for my friends birthday. It was a lovely evening and the axe throwing instructor was brilliant, however my evening was completely ruined when it came receiving our food from the bar staff. I ordered 2 beef burgers and 2 lemon & limes (zero alcohol), which totalled £32.50, which I questioned and was told this right and lemon and lime is £4.50 EACH. We sat down to await our food and approx 15mins later I could see our food was arriving. The staff member handed me both sets of burgers and fries (both were served on a chopping board), putting both in my hands to which nearly the entire contents of the meal trays/boards was completely spilt over me. Covering me from head to toe in chips, grease and salt, leaving me in shock and in a complete mess. The staff member then processed to stand there for 30secs and then walked away as if nothing happened. My friends were all too in shock as to what had happened, disgusted that nobody even bothered to care or follow up. I had to pick up all the food out of my clothes and was left with a overdone burger and a few straggly chips. I was not approached by anyone working there who could clearly see what had happened, nor was I given so much as an apology.

This completed ruined my entire evening resulting in me feeling upset, disheartened and a mess. I then had to make my way home at 10pm due to being both humiliated and sitting in both grease and food, ruining my outfit for...

My boyfriend and I decided to go for a drink at this bar on Saturday evening as my boyfriend is quite the beer fanatic. When we arrived, we were served reasonably quickly, however was quite shocked at the price for a beer and soft drink (I was driving yet I felt I was buying a beer for the amount I paid). It was reasonably busy so struggled to find a table as a number were reserved but found a table to briefly sit at and enjoy our drinks and rest our feet.

Whilst enjoying our drinks we saw the table near us enjoying drinks and being served food (we were debating whether to order some food). We could see they ordered what seemed like a sharing bowl of chicken wings, which looked good. Then some more food was served to the table and which from what i could see was burger and chips, however I had to double take as i saw the young lady suddenly completely covered in said food as the waiter gave her both meals to take in what i could see was a cramped area.

She looked visibly upset and the server seemed to just carry on with his duties with not a care in the world as to how the poor girl was, now pretty much covered in her dinner. She had the comfort of her friends from what I can say, so didnt want to pry by asking too if she was ok? This deterred us from staying any longer and we decided to leave once finishing our drinks and find somewhere else to continue...
