North Street Kitchen — Restaurant in England

Fabulous place! That was our first visit in Scarborough and definitely not the last one :) Kind, attentive and friendly service, lovely coffee and absolutely delicious, freshly prepared food :) I had an avo rojo sandwich on a sourdough bread, which was amazing( I am Polish and we are really picky about the bread:D) and my husband went for a Full English Breakfast. We were so happy with our food, that we decided to order a New York style bagel with salty beef, mustard, pickles to take away, just to have some lovely food for later, having in mind, we are going to drive at least 4 hours to Scotland. Fantastic food, relaxing atmosphere and a lovely chat with one of the waitresses at the end of our visit just made us feeling happy, as it should be :) Only positive...

Honestly one of the best Brunch spots I have ever been too. The staff are friendly, polite and very welcoming. The food menu is diverse and has a wide range to cater for everyone. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun - perfect for our Sunday morning visit in the Scarborough sunshine. We ordered the eggs with bacon and the bacon and brie toasty; both were absolutely perfect and the attention to detail on the portions was impressive. We don’t normally do many trip advisor reviews but the service, food and staff were all so top drawer we had no option but to spend time leaving one. This place is just what Scarborough needs. We ate here today, Turkish eggs (like a Shakahuka) with toasted sour dough (the best bread we’ve eaten in a long time) and sourdough topped with devilled avocado, poached eggs and lots of other scrummy things. Friendly service on arrival and clearly a superb chef who cooked food to order in front of you. The food is sensational; if you don’t want spicy there’s lots of other choices including a lovely sounding rarebit and cakes and scones. Make no mistake though, this isn’t your average cafe offering boring sandwiches and cakes, it is a carefully thought out fresh menu that we loved and great value too! We’ll be back …..
