This is a Thai and Indian restaurant on two levels indian downstairs and Thai upstairs. We asked if we can sit with three of which two we're for Indian and one for Thai which they said wouldn't be an issue.
We ordered several dishes for starters and these were hot in temperature and nicely spiced for the tikka starter and vegetable samosa and chicken parcels all of which was lovely
Mains was the usual for the Lord of Darkness with his chicken tikka masala dish different from what we are used to but beautifully spiced and lots of good size meat with a pilau rice, the Prince of Darkness junior had a Thai chicken jungle curry which had an awesome tasting sauce whilst I had my tandoori mixed grill which was lovely as well. Usual mix of nans and poppadoms and sauces, 4 non alcohol drinks for a tadge over £70 was in our opinion value for money
Well mannered and attentive service from the team added to the overall experience
There are so many places to eat in Scarborough but this restaurant is worth a visit. We gave it 5 stars and would return there in the future to sample other parts...

I said I've no idea as I don't know what I can have, he pointed to a tofu dish & said that's gluten free. I asked if I could have the tofu with sweet n sour to be told I couldn't have it as the sweet n sour had soy sauce in which fish in it. I pointed out that's not vegetarian, he argued that it was & vegetarians some times eat fish, no they don't. he said I could have curry if I wanted. I was also offered the sweet n sour tofu with out the fish part. I lost all faith & trust in the place & left. You need to learn the difference between Vegetarian, Vegan, Pescatarian&...
Read moreI don't know why people have rated this good. Trust me a lot of people who have dined here don't know what real food is. First impressions of the restaurant. Interior pleasant. The owners smiled once we arrived. However they seemed more interested in their personal talks and did not welcome guests properly. Staff were helpful though. The starters arrived they were below standard. Little sauce and less taste. Then mains came 15 mins later. Now the average main price is £7-10. Which is quite pricey for a standard meal they cooked. The stir fry was wet and the king prawns rubbery. Chicken was drier than the Sahara desert. Sauce masala tasted something out of a soup can. Overall overpriced poor quality food with a next day full of regrets and a hurt wallet! £60 gone but I would advise avoid and take your...
