The Waterhouse — Restaurant in England

Joined this bar to watch extra time of England V Switzerland. We used the rear bar with 3 TVs above. The staff at this bar were great. Fast service, in good spirits and also appeared to be enjoying the evening. There were multiple screens on and the football could be seen from anywhere. And after the game they kept the jubilant atmosphere going with a great choice of themed music.

They do a mean mini Guinness too. Will definitely call in next time in...

My heart sinks whenever anyone suggests going to this bar. Drinks are expensive and it's always overcrowded so there's very little opportunity to do anything other than be squashed and shoved around. There are seats and some seating areas but you'd be lucky if you found any free.

There are regular live music sets which are sometimes worth listening to but more often than not I spend my time there...

The venue seemed to have a great atmosphere with live music, but we were denied entry because, according to bouncer David, my partner's shorts were "looking trampy." This was despite his £125 RL shorts, while moments earlier, David allowed entry to people wearing grey Primark sweatpants and plimsolls.
