Taco Bell — Restaurant in England

This popular US fast food chain recently opened their first ever Lancashire branch in Blackpool a few of months ago and we sampled their mexican-inspired meals last week x

We tried the following: 》Volcano Burrito | The "all rounder" of Burritos - spicy and crunchy with the signature Taco Bell flavours. Made out of beef, lava sauce, seasoned mexican rice, sour cream and crushed nacho chips.

》Crispy Chicken Burrito | Soft flour tortilla, two crispy chicken strips, creamy jalapeño sauce, lettuce, diced tomatoes and cheddar cheese? Oh yes please! I could eat this everyday.

》Quesadilla | Flour tortilla, grilled chicken, generous melted cheese and creamy jalapeño sauce - can't go wrong with this classic.

》Cheesy Gordita Crunch | Flatbread covered in melted cheese and wrapped around a crunchy taco shell filled with seasoned beef, lettuce, cheddar cheese and Cali ranch sauce​ - what's not to love?

》Chalupa Supreme – Crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside (seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, 3 cheese blend and sour cream).

》Crispy Chicken Soft Taco | Crispy chicken, creamy cali ranch sauce and lettuce wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla then topped with shredded cheddar cheese.

》Chicken strips with Nacho cheese sauce

》Churros with dip | Churros covered in cinnamon sugar with a caramel dip on the side.

Happily stuffed our faces with these flavourful meals from the robust volcano burrito which had a subtle kick to it, cheesy quesadillas, crunchy + soft tacos packed to the brim to their well seasoned chicken strips and moreish churros with caramel dip - everything was so comforting and tasty. I ordered to take away and when I got home I dropped it off to my wife then had to get a Chinese. I got a frustrated phone call from my wife saying that the Taco Bell order was wrong. It had mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato on it. As well as chicken, beef and cheese. I had only ordered chicken, beef and cheese since my daughter who wanted the Taco Bell in the first place is allergic to mayonnaise and lettuce. So I went back to the store to get the meal sorted out. I had got the new meal, got back into the car and checked the food to make sure it was how we wanted it. And the order was wrong again. Instead of a soft shell they had given me a hard shell taco. All the fillings was correct which was a plus. So I went back in, got a new meal and kept the wrong order. Went back home and everything was ok in the end. But it was a massive waist of time going back and forth, especially since I had to go pick up an order from the local Chinese. So in the end my order at the Chinese was sat for over an hour and my daughter was waiting a very long time for her food. May have just been a bad day but the entire experience was just very bad, the ordering area is just small and cramped and uncomfortable to be in with how busy it can get. food was made in a fair amount of time. however when we got our order we were only given one cup when we ordered 2 large combos. i assume she read the receipt wrong but she was very rude and didnt even check it, just responded "i dont think so but ok" and gave us our other cup. we then went upstairs to the school dinner hall feeling eating area where there was rubbish on tables and the atmosphere just felt weird and sad. the food was good )and a fair price for how much we got) but thats just because i love tacos and quesadillas, however my taco which i asked for no tomatos on had a piece of tomato and the quesadilla which doenst come with lettuce had a bit of lettuce on so obviosly their sides arent being wiped clean often enough. i must also add that we were not given the churros we ordered and when we did get them they felt chewy and old. like i said, THIS SHII SUUUUUCKS. wont be goin for at least a year so they can maybe get some staff with an acceptable amount of...
