I’m completely gutted. I quite like this café, but the staff attitude we went on Saturday morning. It was busy, but only half full There was quite a few tables spare most of them were small tables, The waitress asked us to sit on a table near the door, A few many moments later, another couple left a table that was in the corner which would’ve been warmer. I tried to get the waitress’s attention, but she was too busy going backwards and forwards. And not really paying attention. So we decided to move to the table in the corner immediately the waitress Runover and asked us not to sit there and said this is for a big group. It was only a table for four and they had seated a couple previous. There was no one waiting for a table and as I looked round quite a lot of the tables that were for four only had two people on I couldn’t understand her logic. I asked if the table was booked she said no then I said why can’t we sit here Her reply was if a big group comes in? but I’m sure the other tables for Four with two or less people sat on, we’re not Treated the same. I was looking forward to eating breakfast and I was gonna enjoy quite a substantial meal. I did not want to be sat near called drafted door constantly opening. Because of the attitude of the staff, I will not be ever going back to this...

I woke up with a sore head on Sunday morning and needed a full English, so I thought I’d try this place as a friend suggested it.

We went in and found our own table and sat down, the cafe was fitted out and decorated to a high standard which I liked.

I was left to figure out my self that you have to order at the counter but would of been nice if a waitress/waiter would of acknowledge us as we had been sat down for quiet some time...

I ordered a ‘big breakfast and my girlfriend got the ‘eggs royale the food arrived shortly after, there wasn’t anything big about my breakfast, medium tops. But presentation wise it exceeded my expectations perfect!

This was the breakfast I was searching for tasted soo good, I don’t usually like tomatoes but these were so sweat and nice!

After my breakfast I got a latte, I am very passionate about good coffee and this was A really good coffee and was good to see that there supplier was ‘the blending room`

I absolutely recommend this place, if you are reading this just go! you will not be disappointed.

I will be...

Cool trendy interia and presentation of food in an arty way, but the proof is in the tasting, my husband ordered eggs Benedict, it was presented all cold including the poached eggs. I ordered Cappocino and a snack of pesto, avocado, sundried tomato, and goats cheese on toast ......looked pretty laid in separate chunks on the toast but didn't work as presented and all stone cold. My Cappocino was received luke warm, when I complained about this I was told all Cappocinos are served at that drinking temperature and if I wanted a hot Cappocino I would have to request an extra hot one when ordering ......totally bizarre!!!! I was made to feel uncomfortable by staff who talked down to me about their bizarre system of serving luke warm Cappocino, as to make it hot would burn the milk they said!!!! They did then make me a hot one. The food is very expensive and not worth it I am sorry to say this was a big...

Absolutely gorgeous food (VERY expensive mind- a one off kind of thing). I had french toast with a mascarpone whip and berries- OMG delish! Plenty of vegetarian options, sweet and savoury dishes. My only gripe is that the place is very hot and cramped, we were virtually knocking elbows with the people next to us, and the heating seemed to be on full whack! One tiny toilet available. So yes it's scrumptious, but we paid barely £40 for brunch (including coffees). There are cheaper places on Newland avenue to eat and get nice coffee, this is a particularly fancy place- planet coffee over the road from here gives you more bang for your buck.

Very dissapointed. Was nicely surprised when walked in. But when Latte they brought in the glass for juice...... No anything on side, like biscuit. Also cofe was not looking like Latte, please see the picture. No available sugar and not ofered. Big breakfast.... Presentation on plate not very nice. Tomato... Partly fried or grilled and still partly fresh. Was offered ketchup, peper or "anything" with my breakfast... What is it - anything? As breakfast was not looking very good i do not want "anything" with it. And finaly no one was interested how was the food and service. NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE!

I didn't enjoy my dish " salmon and egg Royal" It consists of a tiny slice of salmon on 1 half of the muffin with the egg and the other side only consisting of the spinach and the other half of the muffin. I am not sure if this was meant to be eaten as a sandwich but it was not tasty. Around £13!! Nice venue though. The service was ok The food was disappointing, nothing royal about this dish lol Overall = average ( based on this particular dish) If there is a next time I'll choose something else.
