Not too bad. It has all the qualities of a basic pub: beer, light, heat, one-armed-bandits, TV; and the staff are friendly. But it feels a bit seedy. What makes this pub great (almost) is its location; it's right opposite Brighton station so it's an ideal to sit and wait for your date (who is, in my case, late). And it's not costing me anything as I'm just having a glass of water. All in all a very useful location and, as a wise man once said, the key to a successful retail business is location, location and location.

I visited the pub on the 23.04.22. This was my first visit since its refurb. The interior is fab - great atmosphere and busier than usual. I had a bit of bother from another customer and when the manager caught my eye to see if I was ok and I nodded ‘no’ security were quickly in and removing said gentleman. I was so impressed. As a woman on your own, it is sometimes a little unnerving but I felt really safe in the pub. Thank you!

Sound little pub 2 minutesc from the train station, good choice of craft beers on tap and bottles/cans in the fridge. Barstaff dead friendly, happy to recommend beers an give you a taster and good vibe in the pub so defo worth a visit if your in Brighton or waiting for a train.

We enjoyed a nice pleasant meal here. This is a very tiny establishment, with only four tables if I remember rightly. Our host Giorgio was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our food was enjoyable, as was the ambiance. As everyone states, this is extremely tiny, as is only a deli by day, so probably more suitable to couples, although its difficult to chat privately as obviously being so small everyone can hear what your saying!

The food was enjoyable, but in my humble opinion, I am suprised that this restaurant is no.1 in Brighton.

I am pleased for the lovely couple who obviously work so hard, that it is number 1, but it did suprise us as we didn't feel it quite deserved the number 1 slot. But this is only "our" personal opinion, so maybe you should try and decide for...

The Queen's head is in a prime location right by Brighton Station. However, the staff don't seem very happy, and that translates into a bit of a discouraging service. They didn't know much about the new beers/ales in stock either.

The prices weren't bad though, at £9.40 for a pint and glass of wine in November 2021. The selection was fairly good, without being amazing.

They had football playing on two big screens either side of the saloon, which is good if you like sport. However the rest of the pub furniture felt a bit sparse and clinical. No cosy places to sit, which is a real shame in winter when the doors have to...

Went there last weekend with my family. First time in a long while. Booked up beforehand which is advisable. We all had a starter and main with a bottle of wine. All courses were delicious. I had the bruchetta which was huge! Fortunately we shared it. My main was the seafood pasta. The mussels were delicious and the shrimps tasty however in shell and small. I would still have it again but would prefer to see larger. The wine was very easy to drink. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. Nice homely atmosphere...and I wont leave it too long before a return!...
