First time visit, had an hour to kill at lunchtime with wife. Several wooden bench / table combos outside, so took one of those. Sadly, they were right next to bus stop canopy but at least we were outside on a sunny day. Just over £8.50 for decent pint Guinness and double Bacardi with splash of coke. All the real ales were off, cleaning the lines or something perhaps. Big, well looked after interior with lots of large screen TVs, for sport I guess. Decent looking pool table in raised section towards the back. Felt welcoming and we'd be happy to return.

The Railway Bell is a traditional pub in Brighton, located just across from the train station. They offer a small range of hand-pumped ales (nothing to write home about), and the usual pub grub. It's not a particularly stylish or cozy place, but a decent option for a quick pint when you're leaving the town. Service is reasonably friendly.

I have to say that this place is my favourite in Brighton! Not only because its cheap, but the Bar staff service is amazing and they are all really nice to me and my friends every time we go for drinks. The music is always really good too and i love the upstairs bit a lot.

I just wanted to leave a review for this place because honestly is the best pub in Brighton. The new owner has really changed the place around to such an inclusive environment. I went for a drink last night before getting the train. I was served by this lovely young lady she was extremely polite and accommodating. Asked me how my day was and if I needed anything else. Not only the prices are good but the general pub is very welcoming. I have come in here before but I’d honestly keep coming back and letting people know to start drinking in there. Only thing I would say is there needs to be system to tip on card the girl I was served by was amazing but she didn’t want a drink but I just wanted to give her a tip for her service. Thank you guys at the...

Where to start with this place! Was travelling yesterday with some away fans (Italians), we rocked up at the pub, the bar staff were fully aware we were away fans but continued to serve us anyway.

Naturally its a football day so they wanted to sing. Most pubs that are near stadiums have no issue with this.

After around 15 minutes this trumped up little women who I'm guessing was the land lady starts shouting and then gets the police to come in and remove us as "this pub is a Brighton pub" now firstly there was a better way to handle this. The staff could of refused to serve us and informed us it was a home pub.

Funny thing was there was only about 10 Brighton fans in there. I went back past after the match on way back to station and the...

I went there a few times last month while waiting for a train. Its a lovely pub but new manager is one of those creepy looking people you would prefer to avoid while alone at the bar. Its not enough every time i saw him he was drunk also his very young looking daughter who is also a barmaid was drinking alcohol on her shifts !! On the other hand the assistant manager - Anna and Tim were absolutely lovely! Its a shame they didn't last there very long as the last time i visited he pub they were already gone. It might be a good plays to go to watch football but besides of that on the current management I am afraid the pub isn't...
