The Veteran Hotel — Restaurant in England

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommended Stay!

My boyfriend Roger and I stayed at The Veteran Hotel and Pub in Ryde for a few days (Thursday to Sunday) and had such a wonderful experience. The pub has a great atmosphere — lively and welcoming — and the staff, especially Xara and Ellie, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and our room above the pub was spotless and very comfortable. We also met Anna, the cleaner, and I want to give her a special mention for how immaculately clean everything was — she clearly takes great pride in her work.

Overall, it was an excellent stay at a really good price. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in the Isle of Wight. Well...

This seafront venue The Veteran Bar is really shaping up nicely. A lovely bunch of staff greeted me and helped me feel at home. I played a lively Sunday afternoon gig for a mixture of regulars, passers by and a few who came specially. The bar room is spacious and airy with high ceilings that give a nice rich sound all the way round from the stage area. A fantastic bar on the promenade in Ryde run by a veteran that helps veterans. Simplicity is the way here with plenty of space around the bar and raised stage to your right as you enter. The bar staff were very helpful and when my friends suggested both the ales were a bit off, investigated immediately and put new barrels on. Unfortunately, they didn't like that much either, but the Guinness was excellent. My friends might not be, but I am happy to go back...
