You will not find better pizza anywhere in Exeter. There is a reason why this characterful venue has such a good reputation - so much so that you may struggle to find a seat later on in the evening, even on a weekday. The cajun and the chilli and lime chicken are my personal favourite pizza offerings (one is easily enough to satisfy the appetites of two adults, and they provide foil to take any leftovers home). They are also famous for their cider which they can add a wide array of delicious fruit syrups to upon request, and they have a good range of wine and a couple of decent lagers to boot. Even if you're only in Exeter for one evening this place is a must visit!

Oh dear where do I start. The website promises you a wide choice of food and what you get to choose from is pizza and a limited range of average beers. You walk into venue and you can sit anywhere you wish as long as it has a table number. You order by downloading an app, selecting food, drink, table number and card number. No ordering at bar or waiter/waitress service. Beer and pizza then arrives. You don't get plates but you do get knives and forks. No questions about how was your meal - you simply are ignored. Ordering on an app might have been OK during height of Covid but it's pretty poor as an excuse for customer service. We ate and left.

Great atmosphere. Super-friendly staff. Good range of drinks that seemed reasonably priced. On the face of it the pizzas were expensive. But then you realise that they aren't standard sized. One pizza does two hungry people which makes it pretty good value. Good range of pizzas including vegan if that is important for you. Pizzas themselves are more American style than Italian. Thin bases and very nice toppings. I went for 4 stars rather than 5 stars as the bases were slightly oily. I guess they put oil in the bottom of the trays before adding the dough. But I am being picky...

Even better than I remembered! Both my partner and I went to uni in exeter (before we met). We both remembered the legendary square pizzas fondly. We decided to revisit, and we weren't disappointed! The pizzas are so so good, staff were amazing and super friendly. Well worth the trip.
