I would've given the place a 5 star but the behaviour of the staff seems to vary depending on when you visit. I was ordering a Burrito and I had forgotten the name of the valentina salsa sauce that they usually have on the counter as an extra option, so I thought I would just ask what the name of that sauce was and if they could add it and the member of staff who was preparing the Burrito still went through the process of sealing it and wrapping it up as if i'd finished my order whilst the one who was on the till told me it was called Valentina and that they weren't sure if they had any in...the Valentina was strangely placed near the front door on the surface area surround the bins and not on any of the staff counters, they then just gave me a little plastic pot of the stuff instead.
Honestly the way they behaved made it feel like they were tolerating some kind of alien request even though on numerous other occasions i've asked for the valentina and the staff running the place at the time have willingly added it to the other toppings in the burrito.
Honestly I don't get this borderline cult-like attitude they have towards the Valentina; it's just another salsa, why keep it somewhere that's so far out of reach?
I've only removed 1 star because besides that strange ordeal I enjoy the food they make and their service is generally good, plus I am aware that it's only a minor issue that I have but as a matter of principle you don't wrap up a burrito when the customer is still asking for toppings, and I think it should be pretty obvious why ALL of the available sauces should be within arms reach of whoever is...

The good: Really tasty food and a great variety of fillings. Staff were doing an excellent job! Will definitely be back.
The not-so-good: Two managers were hanging around right by the entrance as you walk in, and immediately started telling us how it worked (which isn't complicated and definitely doesn't need an explanation) and then pushed for 5 star Google reviews. Very off-putting. Your staff are working hard to keep up with demand, roll up your sleeves and help out instead of monitoring them and being pushy to customers. Plus the space at the front was way too small for two men to be stood there the whole time.
Also the music was FAR too loud. It's a busy place, with lots of choices, and everyone wearing masks and being behind screens made it difficult to communicate with staff (who were lovely!). Please make it easier on staff and customers by turning down the music so people can hear properly!
Also the menu out front didn't match the actual ordering steps - the menu doesn't list rice options (which turned out to be one of the first choices when ordering!), but did list "2 salsas" as a choice when by default we were offered only one. It was easy enough to ask for additional salsas, but very weird that the brand-new menu didn't match up with the...

Our visit to Tortilla was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, so while I don’t usually bother with reviews, I had to feed back about this. We were warmly welcomed by friendly and smiling staff. A special shoutout to the lovely blonde waitress in black shirt, who was welcoming, and not only provided excellent service but also recommended their special – Crispy Pork Belly with Candy Jalapeños Mayo. It was simply divine! Well balanced, with the crispy and tender pork belly, complemented by the jalapeño mayo!
The staff were amazing! You don’t really expect that from a chain, but the passion about what they’re serving there was evident. It made us feel genuinely excited about trying some things we haven’t had before. We had a great conversation while our food was being prepared and the music and positive atmosphere just added to the charm of this place.
We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Tortilla to anyone looking for great food and top-notch service! Just wish we’d tried this...
