The WORST 'fish and chips' EVER ! DON'T GO HERE, or the 'hot dog/burger place opposite. Go to Wetherspoon's instead, just nearby with clean lovely toilets, great food and drink, where you can eat safely away from the disgusting seagulls, that wont leave anyone eating alone. My terrible experience at this place started when I went to the hotdog place opposite, where the staff were rude and very slow. The burgers etc, are cooked where their customers shout orders over the cooking 'food', gathering all sorts of germs, and phlegm, under cooked and served up to the poor guys in front of us, so we tried the 'Fish and Chip' place instead. It took absolutely ages to receive their 'food' that comes down a greasy shute into a greasy trough, then into a food tray. If you can manage to eat a few grease soaked chips you will see half a cup of oil washing around the tray, and that is no exaggeration ! I felt sick with a bad stomach afterwards, and threw it away, the seagulls struggled to eat it too. Absolutely disgusting ! AVOID. The previous posts with 'excellent' are obviously friends of theirs ! £10 for the disgusting grease dripping fish and chips...

£4 for a portion of chips (fair enough) but about 30 seagulls waiting and attacking customers soon as they got their chips so asked for a tray with attached lid and was told no, they had to be served open and only if I paid £10 for fish and chips could I get a tray with attached lid.
Ok, rules are rules but the attitude of the girl working there (ginger) was disgusting, talked to majority of customers like rubbish, zero friendliness and walking away when I was asking for the chips wrapped. She didnāt want to be there.
For the sake of a few pence for the business you should let customers have a lidded tray due to the seagulls attacking customers food.
After a bit of fuss she shoved another small tray on top of the chips but wasnāt pleased about it
Slow service....

What will £9.50 get you at the pier chippy? Not a lot. A very small portion of chips and the thinnest slice (it really is to thin to call a fillet) of battered fish overcooked in very, very old oil. Served broken up in a box.
It was so bad even the seagulls wouldn't eat it. š¤·
This was a first time visit to Llandudno and a very powerful lesson was learned, don't eat at the pier chippy. Save yourself some money and taste buds and buy your seaside tradition at one of the many fine chip shops in the town centre. Then, stroll down to the promenade, fork in hand, enjoying your chips old...
