Beware the staff are fraudsters!!!
I came to Brighton with my terminally ill friend... I picked Brighton because I've never had a bad experience here before.. We was walking down kings Street and approached by some young adults.. Asking us to come to the walkabout 2 4 1 cocktails or pitchers for 15 I don't know weren't really listening to be honest, I thought have one drink if it ain't up to much the leave no drama... The reason this place is out asking people to come to the walkabout is because they obviously are struggling... Its the hottest day of the year and they are on Brighton seafront almost...... Please avoid at all costs they was a mixed race girl with plaits that was so rude it was a joke I weren't the only girl she upset she made me pay for my bottle of champagne first then disappeared wen I asked her Where's my bottle she became aggressive and rude.. Then gave me the bottle with half the cork stuck in it... I never came to them the asked me to come says it all really... 1 member of staff can kill your business... 80%were lovely but the place lacks leadership, and is unorganised and a bit of dive tbf, but what annoyed me most is this girl was so rude it put me off..... Please respond and I will explain with evidence to prove it so we left then my card was blocked because someone from the walkabout tried to use my card... Then it made sense why this member of staff asked me to leave... The police have been notified.overall a good place but where its run by inexperienced young people and a girl who frauds you or allows some one else to. Its a no go back again for me.. One bad apple in a average kind of place..... If you can find somewhere better then please do....and as for the owner, please train your staff to enhance your profits. I've been coming to Brighton for 20 years this member of staff has really put me off.. Also anyone who has had the same problem please review this place. Brighton will only stay great and leave you feeling good if we are not bogged down by this flyby night bars. They should have no place in...
Read more3 years being their customer, 3 years going there every football match, 3 years being their "Mate Rates" because of my regular visit, I even celebrated my Birthday with them... And on Saturday 26/05 happened that i bought a 1st round of beers that the Foster was £3.85 and the Heineken £4.25 and 1Hr later i bought a 2nd round but in this occasion i was charged £4.25 & £4.85 for the same beers! They suddenly changed prices "because Head Office told them to"... Because it was so busy, i decided to personally speak with the manager on Sunday 27/05 at 3pm. I arrived there and asked them for the list of the beers' prices. They were clear and published as £3.85 for the Foster & £4.25 for the Heineken. I asked why i was charged higher prices the same day and then suddenly the day after they are "normal" prices again and the manager said "after 7PM last night was an Special Event" (so they might use special more expensive prices). They also withdrawn the "Mates Rates" offer, but it is fine because their Ts&Cs says that they can do it at any moment and i understand that, but Suddenly Higher Prices?... So i said to that "Manager" that i wanted to see their "Special Event" prices and he was unable to show me them saying that it was "Head Office Order", that i had to asked for them the night before because they were listed (that i don't believe him as he was not able to show me that prices list). He started to be nervous, actually telling me that he was busy so was evading me. I am your loyal customer, but as he never showed me the "Special Events" Prices, i feel cheated, i feel very disappointed and i see this fact as a fraud. My Review is 2 Stars only because i had a great time with my friends there. But the sudden changed of prices like to take advantage of the customers, is not correct... It is not about my +£4 difference back, is more about regular customers care and about taking advantage of the money of the customers. Ps: I have my receipts, just in case, that by the way the manager was actually trying to...
