Large area for sports and dance fans, opens late (2AM). Menu only has 1 vegan option (Asian-Style noodles) aside from chips & salad. Keep up Walkabout! Especially in Brighton! Big screens everywhere for sport. Comfortable chairs and large tables meant for groups (expect hen/stag parties). Lots of the furniture is moveable to make a large dance floor area. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Disabled toilet available on ground floor. Food hygiene rating 5/5. Free WiFi speed 2Mb down 1Mb up (this was when the pub was nearly empty so probably useless when packed. There's one or two plug sockets for charging your phone, you'll be lucky to find them though. The bar is opposite a night club so expect fights and vomiting outside on a weekend night.

Absolutely stupid. On Grand National afternoon, travelling down for the Brighton Marathon, I wasn’t allowed in to watch the race because I had two large bags of crisps from M&S with me. I could have had a chainsaw in my suitcase which the idiot bouncer wasn’t bothered about, but no, the crisps were apparently an issue. Ridiculous policy and zero common sense applied.

Nice place to go for a drink, £2 pints if you've got a student card. Recently been renovated and looks quite nice with a sort of surfery vibe to it. Good deals on food, pool table and you can see a TV from almost any seat in the place. Great for sport events. Nights it turns to a pseudo club and can be hit or miss.

Beware the staff are fraudsters!!!

I came to Brighton with my terminally ill friend... I picked Brighton because I've never had a bad experience here before.. We was walking down kings Street and approached by some young adults.. Asking us to come to the walkabout 2 4 1 cocktails or pitchers for 15 I don't know weren't really listening to be honest, I thought have one drink if it ain't up to much the leave no drama... The reason this place is out asking people to come to the walkabout is because they obviously are struggling... Its the hottest day of the year and they are on Brighton seafront almost...... Please avoid at all costs they was a mixed race girl with plaits that was so rude it was a joke I weren't the only girl she upset she made me pay for my bottle of champagne first then disappeared wen I asked her Where's my bottle she became aggressive and rude.. Then gave me the bottle with half the cork stuck in it... I never came to them the asked me to come says it all really... 1 member of staff can kill your business... 80%were lovely but the place lacks leadership, and is unorganised and a bit of dive tbf, but what annoyed me most is this girl was so rude it put me off..... Please respond and I will explain with evidence to prove it so we left then my card was blocked because someone from the walkabout tried to use my card... Then it made sense why this member of staff asked me to leave... The police have been notified.overall a good place but where its run by inexperienced young people and a girl who frauds you or allows some one else to. Its a no go back again for me.. One bad apple in a average kind of place..... If you can find somewhere better then please do....and as for the owner, please train your staff to enhance your profits. I've been coming to Brighton for 20 years this member of staff has really put me off.. Also anyone who has had the same problem please review this place. Brighton will only stay great and leave you feeling good if we are not bogged down by this flyby night bars. They should have no place in...

3 years being their customer, 3 years going there every football match, 3 years being their "Mate Rates" because of my regular visit, I even celebrated my Birthday with them... And on Saturday 26/05 happened that i bought a 1st round of beers that the Foster was £3.85 and the Heineken £4.25 and 1Hr later i bought a 2nd round but in this occasion i was charged £4.25 & £4.85 for the same beers! They suddenly changed prices "because Head Office told them to"... Because it was so busy, i decided to personally speak with the manager on Sunday 27/05 at 3pm. I arrived there and asked them for the list of the beers' prices. They were clear and published as £3.85 for the Foster & £4.25 for the Heineken. I asked why i was charged higher prices the same day and then suddenly the day after they are "normal" prices again and the manager said "after 7PM last night was an Special Event" (so they might use special more expensive prices). They also withdrawn the "Mates Rates" offer, but it is fine because their Ts&Cs says that they can do it at any moment and i understand that, but Suddenly Higher Prices?... So i said to that "Manager" that i wanted to see their "Special Event" prices and he was unable to show me them saying that it was "Head Office Order", that i had to asked for them the night before because they were listed (that i don't believe him as he was not able to show me that prices list). He started to be nervous, actually telling me that he was busy so was evading me. I am your loyal customer, but as he never showed me the "Special Events" Prices, i feel cheated, i feel very disappointed and i see this fact as a fraud. My Review is 2 Stars only because i had a great time with my friends there. But the sudden changed of prices like to take advantage of the customers, is not correct... It is not about my +£4 difference back, is more about regular customers care and about taking advantage of the money of the customers. Ps: I have my receipts, just in case, that by the way the manager was actually trying to...

The Best Bar in Brighton with an Amazing Manager

I recently had the pleasure of visiting what I now consider the best bar in Brighton, and I can't help but sing praises for both the establishment and its incredible manager, Leah.

From the moment you walk in, the bar exudes a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The decor is stylish yet cozy, creating the perfect ambiance for any occasion, whether you're out for a casual drink with friends or celebrating a special event.

What truly sets this bar apart, however, is the exceptional service, spearheaded by the remarkable manager, Leah. Her warm and friendly demeanor instantly makes you feel like a valued guest. Leah's attention to detail and dedication to ensuring every patron has a memorable experience is truly commendable. She goes above and beyond to accommodate special requests and always does so with a genuine smile.

Leah's knowledge of the menu and her excellent recommendations made our experience even better. She clearly has a passion for what she does, and it shines through in the way she interacts with guests and manages her team. It's evident that her leadership plays a significant role in creating the positive and vibrant atmosphere that makes this bar so special.

The drinks were expertly crafted, and the selection was impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes. Whether you're a fan of classic cocktails or looking to try something new and inventive, this bar has you covered. The quality of the beverages was top-notch, and it was clear that a lot of thought and care goes into every drink served.

Overall, this bar is a gem in Brighton, thanks in no small part to the amazing manager, Leah. Her exceptional service and genuine passion for hospitality elevate the entire experience. If you're looking for the best bar in Brighton, look no further – and be sure to say hi to Leah...
