Buxton Fryer — Restaurant in High Peak

If i could give it 0 stara I really would! Disappointment is an understatement. I don’t often review places but really think people should be aware and avoid at all cost. We are not local and the 5 fake reviews this place has are misleading. From the second I walked in I was rashed to order which didn’t make us feel welcoming- not like there was anyone else queueing. Anyway we ordered some chips and to forgetting the fact they are massively overpriced they were burnt. I politely informed the lady that they were burnt and we would not be eating them. She explained that they were not burnt but can make us a new portion if we wanted to we agreed after which the chips were even more burnt than the first time. Went in just to get 2 pea mixes and a battered sausage and chips but this took 30 minutes with the lad on the counter being incredibly rude and messing up most of the order but also staff messing up other peoples orders as well. They cost a fortune and are not worth it as most of the chips were burnt and the portions are not worth what they charge simply a rip off. The staff also kept changing out who was on the till for no apparent reason but were being rude as well when we had no clue who were supposed to be talking to. Save your money and...

Order took over 1.5 hours to come, I called to chase up the order and was reassured it would be hot when it arrived, told it left 30 mins ago, then 5 mins ago then it's leaving now etc etc... received order stone cold, had to microwave it so we could eat it , very poor indeed.
