Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Kirklees

Really disappointed with our visit today. We used to come all the time however today when we went, the staff had a lack of understanding. My partner got a breakfast wrap, which was stone cold inside, they then put it back in to heat up (which you shouldn’t do) I then ordered a coconut white mocha which I have always got for 3 years, I understand the white mocha has a small trace of diary however when I took a sip, it was not coconut milk. I have an intolerance so im now left with a very upset stomach. As I told this to the staff, they were more bothered about saying ‘we do use the same jugs and you should’ve told us when you ordered’ I work in Starbucks myself so it’s common sense that when someone orders a drink made with a dairy ALTERNATIVE, the jugs have to be different to cater for these. We spent a total of £20 so not money we can be wasting. Really disappointed as this was my first trip out in a few months due to being poorly. More to the point, what if someone had a serious allergy to cows milk and this is what happened… Definitely won’t be coming back to this store. We’ve had to come straight home and not be able to look round the shops due to now having stomach pains.
