Egyptian - Lebanese restaurant with a great atmosphere near Earls Court station. We went as a family and really enjoyed the food and drinks there. Special mention for Egyptian Hawaushi, Egyptian Mousakka with rice, Egyptian Molokhia with meat, Lebanese Kibbeh as the main courses and starter. Also the deserts were amazing too: the Afandena Kunefe (home made), Mahalabeya and Baklawa. Also tried the Basbousa (Namoura) (this is the Lebanese version). In the drinks department, the home made Ayran is not to be missed along with fresh orange juice too. Some of the Egyptian items need to be preordered 24h in advance for the kitchen to be ready. Also, they just started using a built oven to make their own bread at the restaurant and I have to say that the bread was really good. All in all, I can thoroughly recommend this place to anyone after Lebanese / Egyptian cuisine. Last but not least, I loved the Lebanese coffee with cardamom 👍🏻

Absolutely fantastic dining experience! This Lebanese Egyptian restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that makes you feel like you've stepped into a Mediterranean oasis. The food is the real star here. We started with a variety of mezze, including hummus and baba ghanoush. The Lamb shank and kofta were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. They were happy to make recommendations and explained the dishes in detail. We finished our meal with some delicious Kunafah and strong, aromatic tea and coffee. Everything from start to finish was top-notch. Whether you're a fan of Lebanese and Egyptian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

never seen food like this in my life. I took a mix of meat that was not a mix, I got 4 pieces of diced meat and a french fry for a total of 5.00 and 25.00 the meat with a spoonful of miserable rice. when I left and saw the food I was shocked, the potatoes were completely raw and 4 cubes of meat, plus I waited 40 minutes, I went back there and there was also the chef, let's say chef but I think he was a dishwasher and I said try a french fry? he answers me no I'm not hungry then he takes one and crushes it with his hands and he didn't understand that it was raw 🤦‍♂️and he also answered me what do you want me to do? ok I cook them more with malice and rudeness I just went away and told the very kind girl tell him that he eats them.. I understand it can happen I am a haed chef if I sent something like that the customers would throw them in my face and then the owner would send me home.. it can only happen if you are busy not when the restaurant is empty.. and wait 40 minutes.. never seen anything like that.. instead of apologizing ok I'll make them again he took them with dirty hands and went to fry them.. I ran away...

Me and my friend came in. We ordered cheese rolls, kibbeh & hummus for starters, then half roast chicken and chicken molokhia for mains. We got complimentary pittas for the hummus and my friend said it was the best bread he ever had but I thought it was very hard. There were only 2 other people in the restaurant at that time so I wondered why it took over 50 minutes for the mains to come out. My friend got his half chicken and did not like it one bit. The chicken nor the chips. I tried both to make sure and agreed. I kind of filled myself up a bit with the starters so I asked to have my molokhia take-away. About an hour since we walked in, it still wasn't ready. Even when I went up to the staff and asked for it in a take-away box, it still wasn't ready. I took the molokhia home and tried it to judge the consistency throughout the meals and it was terrible. So watery, no flavour, about a wing's worth of chicken. Bill came up to £72.15, we paid with £80 and got £7 change. Service was good though. And the...

We had an amazing Iftar experience at Afandena Restaurant with a group of seven friends, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The hospitality was exceptional—the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

The food was top-notch, with every dish full of authentic Lebanese flavors and beautifully presented. From the fresh mezze to the perfectly grilled meats and traditional dishes, everything exceeded our expectations. The quality and taste were spot on, making it one of the best Iftar meals we’ve had in London.

The ambiance was also a highlight—elegant, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed meal with friends. The warm lighting and stylish decor added to the overall charm of the restaurant.

Would highly recommend Afandena to anyone looking for great Lebanese cuisine with outstanding service. We will definitely be coming...
