Aggelos — Restaurant in London

We booked through First Table to try something different. The place is easy to reach, although from the outside it might look a bit anonymous, especially considering there are many restaurants along the same street.

The welcome from the staff member was excellent, and the menu was very simple. Traditional music played in the background, and the quality of the meat and traditional bread was very good. The tzatziki sauce was exceptional, and we finished with a limoncello. We ordered two spritzes outside of the promotion, and even so, we paid a very reasonable price.

Food was amazing. Cannot comment on the atmosphere as we were the only table for the evening. Booked online for a bottomless brunch but when calling ahead to check all was fine was rudely told that i did not follow the instructions online. Eventually was able to do the bottomless. We were then told all guests needed to be present for the bottomless to start and all drink choices need to be the same which we found strange. The server was rather condescending and sarcastic which left a sour taste. Cannot fault the food it was lovely...

I recently visited Aggelos, and it was a fantastic experience! I ordered the pita gyros, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, tender meat wrapped in soft, fresh pita bread, complemented by flavorful toppings. It felt like a true taste of Greece! Paired with an ice-cold Coke, it was a simple yet satisfying meal.
