Oh my goodness. Where do i start...if i could give this place a 9 out of 5 i would!
I was brought to amazonico on a thursday evening for my surpirse birthday meal and the experience was near perfect. I admit i did feel a little underdressed compared to the ladies in their mayfair cocktail dresses but I wasn't treated in such a way. All of the staff were lovely -they all greet you as you pass them.
The restaurant is absolutely huge and has different areas such as a sushi bar, drinks bar and even a private room.
We had a couple of waiters assigned to our table, who were consistently easy to call on, helpful with the menu, and discreet in taking away cutlery, topping up water etc.
This is what we ordered: Drinks - we ordered our standard virgin mojitos with our meal. Honestly the best i have ever had. Starters - cheese bread,as recommended by the waiter. These were amazing. So moreish and light. The only thing that could be better is if they came with some kind of dip. Sushi - yellowtail roll. This was my first raw fish sushi experience and it was absolutely delicious. Mains - wagyu steak for two. This was served with chimchurri and a spicy avocado sauce. It was pricey at £135 but was fricking amazingggg and melt in the mouth. I am drooling right now just by thinking about it. Sides - new potatoes- This dish was yummy as far as new potatoes go. They complimented the steak well. Cheese fondue with tomato relish - now this dish had a hair in it so we sent it back and ordered some veg instead. The waiters were really kind and apologetic about it. Broccoli and carrot - this was another standout dish. the broccoli was smokey amd cooked well and had a few colourful carrots with it. Complemented the steak well and I'm glad we got this as a replacement.
Dessert - chocolate cake with avocado ice cream. This was mind blowing. The chocolate cake was so light yet rich at the same time. The avocado ice cream offset the hot cake with it's cool and creamy tecture. Oh and they added a cute burthday message and candle too!
Between each dish you get a change of plates and cutlery. Discreet top ups of water and glasses taken away when you are done with them.
Waiters wore sleek black face masks and gloves. Tables were spaced apart and were socially distant compliant. Sanitiser is available as you enter the restaurant. You can view the menu by scanning a QR code.
This is an amazing restaurant and i would...

Madrid is the original location for glitzy Amazonico, where it is known for its jungle-inspired interiors and celeb pulling power – everyone from Spanish socialites to politicians have been spotted dining at the restaurant. According to the team behind the restaurant they plan to bring “Latin American warmth and energy” to the City by taking you on a culinary journey through the cuisine.
This first London outpost occupies the former Allied Irish Bank building on Mayfair’s Berkeley Square and sports the restaurant’s famed rainforest-style interiors, including green awnings at the front emblazoned with the Amazonico logo.
Open from morning until the early hours, Amazonico comprises a large dining room and an intimate lounge bar, with room for almost 300 guests across the entire space. The food menu is an eclectic mix of cuisines, featuring fare inspired by Asia, the Mediterranean and Brazil. The Peruvian bar is where you will find all the sushi dishes, and the Amazonian open kitchen is where the real fire is. Dishes you can expect to find include the wide-ranging likes of tandoori-grilled meats, sushi, US-style steaks, frogs' legs and poké.
The circular bar area, serves up beautifully presented cocktails using the likes of juices, tropical fruits, papaya and cinnamon. With Amazonian style foliage hanging from the ceiling and fresh fruity ingredients you will be transported to the Amazon rainforest without the long plane ride or humid climate.
As if this restaurant couldn’t get any more exciting, head down to the jungle jazz club for live performances each night. Be entertained by artists singing the likes of jazz, soul and bossa nova.
The team behind the hotspot are Spanish restaurateurs Sandro da Silva and Marta Santos, who find themselves in good company, among high-end neighbours such as Richard Caring’s celeb-baiting Sexy Fish and Indian restaurant Benares.
Small improvements in my views would be Better Cocktails, more developed desserts and an Octopus dish...
Read moreVisit on 15th April 2025 for a birthday you should take a seat it gonna last a while. We booked for a birthday table of 4 girls for a total of 400£ as reference
FOOD : Starter : So we took a brunch of started to share, including the wagyu beef empanadas, without being asked they took the liberty to add one piece of it for 8£, it’s not about the money it’s about the fact that no one told us but let’s continue shall we.
For the main we took 3 ribye steaks sides and another dish which THANKFULLY had no issue but the steaks did.
For 44£ I basically could eat only half of it as it was mainly fat, at that price it’s supposed to be a premium meat?? The one I buy at Lidl 6£ are better than this. I did work in hospitality long time ago but I remember we wouldn’t serve a piece if it was that low quality. Mayfair or not it’s not about where you at, the place is SUPPOSED to have a certain quality as reflection of the price it’s not the case. Its scandalous
SERVICE : So this might be the biggest jokes of my life, I’m French and I need a LOT to get offended but the tone used with us and the table in front of us was really TWO completely different attitude. The big guy who was in charge of our table was rude as hell. We had to ask 3 différents people to have more water 3… water charged OFC so we pay and be charged for something we haven’t even be able to have ? 15£ if I reckon.
Loved the live music that’s the only positive thing
A piece of fat fell on one water glass, I let u imagine the struggle to have another EMPTY GLASS it’s INSANE we legit asked the same guy few times before one waitress actually bring it
I still paid service charge because it was a birthday and I didn’t wanted to make a scene LUCKILY FOR YOU cause any other day would have been a different reaction. The rudeness of the guy ? That would deserve me having an argument to embarrass him the way we were because what the hell is this behavior ? He’s not happy at work ? Had a bad day ? We couldn’t care less, we, us, PAYING client doesn’t have to accept this ??? We all have thing going on but paying 400£ and getting bullied lmao ?!
Summary : doesn’t worth you wasting any of your time and not your money there is 100x better...
