We had the most amazing time at Blame Gloria Covent Garden celebrating my daughter's birthday.
We were greeted by the loveliest staff members who gave us a glass of fizz on arrival and also showed to out table. All the staff were just super friendly, drinks were flowing and we had such a great afternoon.
Upon leaving one of my daughter's birthday presents had disappeared from our table and the staff dealt with this in the most efficient and amazing way.
A special shout out to the absolutely fantastic member of your staff, possibly one of your managers I am not sure, I asked for the name but have managed to misplace the piece of paper!! It was the same person who acted as a front of house and wore a beanie style hat that day...
Anyway they took their time to go through your security cameras to see what had happened to the bag, managed to figure out that it had been taken by accident by the table next to us (who were also celebrating a birthday), then consequently found their booking, contact number, rang them to explain what had happened and put us in touch so we could arrange to get the bag back.
For me this is just the perfect example of someone is just incredibly customer service minded and has gone above and beyond what I would have expected. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking your time to help with this! We are so grateful and my daughter is thrilled to have her gift bag back all because of your help! I do hope you will be able to identify who it was that helped us as she definitely needs to know how...
Read moreThe welcome was fine. The bar was clean and has a good vibe. Several of the staff need training in customer service. Firstly, on entry I was not at all informed that my table was booked for another party later in the evening. We moved table twice to help the host accommodate other parties. The venue was chosen, and booked last year, for a birthday celebration. Subsequently I saw a social media advert for happy hour all evening. I followed instructions and received an email which stated 'guests must show this email when ordering'. Which I did. I was informed a code was required. There is no indication of this on the email received. When I showed the email to the bar tender she would not honour the discount. Plus said certain cocktails are not included in happy hour despite her colleague assuring me when i arrived that all are included. I asked for a manager. Harvey then reiterated I needed a code even though the email clearly states it is all that's required for the extended happy hour. He made a show of sending my email address in a group WhatsApp chat (to what purpose was not made clear to me)- he then disappeared. The whole experience was disgraceful . Rather than actually read the email I was showing both members of staff dismissed me. Given many of your direct competitors also offer happy hour all evening in Januarys I would have chosen elsewhere for better customer service. The experience for the whole group will not make...
Read moreWe booked this well in advance, there was 8 of us, upon arrival we’re lead to a table which can fit max group of 5 but not 8, plus table wasn’t even set for 8 so that gave away that they was just seating people randomly.Next to us were a bigger table which easily could fit us all but here was group of 4 sitting, we enquired staff about it but they just lied to us that another separate group of 4 will arrive but they didn’t. it felt that they was overbooking for a bigger groups and couldn’t accommodate them, but for a price we paid per person, least i would expect a place to sit, not my self looking for a chair around the place ( staff didn’t help at all ). Then we’re told that they needed to substitute some of our food orders, which we preordered and they confirmed again few days before the event, but even then food arrived wrong and cold, we was literally standing eating our food because there was no space for us to actually properly sit and have some food .After food arrived staff did slow down on bringing drinks even we asked them multiple times.
We done our fare share of brunches but this was the worst we had been to.
