There's a reason Buns from Home is opening new locations like there's no tomorrow while the rest of hospitality struggles on. The buns themselves live up to the Instagram hype. The new specials every weekend (the Wimbledon-themed Strawberries and Cream pictured) are always incredible, but don't miss the tried and tested staples... a visit without either the cinnamon or cardamom buns is a horrible error. Dulce de Leche also hits the spot every time. The sweet buns are always the ones in the spotlight, but I can't recommend the savoury options highly enough. The ham and cheese bun is possibly the best savoury pastry I've had in London. Take one to go and heat it up in the oven at home... pure, unadulterated comfort food.

This is the pastry I recieved on my recent visit 31/03. Requested a 'fresh' pistachio bun which was provided by the server from there ovens. When I arrived home to my disbelief the pastry was completely burnt. I paid 4.45 for this item. I Did not think to open the bag but to anyone coming to this establishment I recommend you do. The same day , I emailed buns from home expressing my concerns but after 5 working days there has been no response. Overall, poor pastry , and non existent service , therefore I feel obliged to leave this review for other potential customers to see and make there own judgment as to whether this pastry is worth it.

I live in the neighborhood and I’ve been passing this little bakery all the time for the past year. Each time I passed, the delicious smell of fresh-baked food enveloped me and I was tempted to try it! But I was often rushing somewhere else and never got to try, until my mom came to visit :) She got us a variety of the buns to try - some with spinach, the ham and cheese variety, and also banana and cinnamon dessert buns. The spinach ones were great, and the ham and cheese ones also delicious! A bit pricy at over 4gbp each. Also would recommend to eat them right away after purchase, as then they’re most delicious! :)

One of five London locations serving up tasty savoury and sweet buns. While the buns served by Buns from Home are smaller than the buns of established chains including Pauls, Ole & Steen, Fabrique and Gails, they taste phenomenal. The cinnamon bun and chocolate-hazelnut buns were crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, with genuine natural chocolate and hazelnut. There are also some unique creations including the cheesecake bun and tiramisu buns. If your tastes bend more towards the savoury opt for their foccacias or pesto and cheese braids.

At between £3.50 to £4.50 per bun, the flavours and taste make up for the reduced size. If you are around Holland Park stop by Buns from Home for some baked goodness. There are additional locations in Covent Garden and...

Went this morning before a meeting cause I follow Buns from home on Instagram and was very curious to try! I got an ham & cheese bun which was amazing! Hot, full of cheese, soft! Then I wanted to try the dessert buns and the girl at the till said they will be ready from 11am but the guy at the back, I guess the baker? Stepped in saying he would have made it for me straight away! Which was very well appreciated! I got the Tiramisu one ! Very big, full of cream, rich flavour! Nothing bad to say really, just I will come back for sure! The only suggestions I can give to the owner is to put an awning outside cause there is a small bench and like this morning was raining, people can’t sit there, that’s...
