I've been going past this restaurant for a number of months now and thought it looked really lovely. I finally got to try it today for my mum's birthday and was so incredibly disappointed. I wish I had read other reviews before bothering because, as everyone has stated, the portions were overpriced and TINY. The waiter was really unhelpful (bordering rude) from the start and, despite asking, didn't advise us on what we should order to make up a full meal. We started with 3 croquettes which were tasty but really small. Worst of all was that despite telling him I was vegetarian he allowed me to order them when they were meat (which luckily I double checked with a waitress before eating!) For our main we ordered what, for the price , we considered to be 3 substantial dishes; my dad had fish which he said was good but for £26 he expected it would come with some form of a side. Having asked for a recommendation for a vegetarian dish I just ended up with some grilled vegetables which I gave to my dad to accompany his fish! My mum had a kabab which she thought would be a meal but was just a few lumps of overpriced meat. We ended up ordering an extra salad (an additional £15 for some tomato, cucumber, feta and dressing) because the meal was lacking. In total our food came to over £100 (without drinks) and in my opinion it absolutely wasn't worth it. The whole experience was only made bearable by a waitress who tried to make up for everything. She brought us a lovely (complimentary) dessert, advising us correctly that it would be big enough to share. She apologised for the poor experience but unfortunately it just didn't make up for the original poor service and lack of food. My advice? There are definitely better places to try in Holland Park and the...

Dear Management Team,

I am writing to share my recent experience at your restaurant. While the food was fine, I regret to say that I was disappointed with the prices and the presentation of the dishes.

During our meal, we ordered the lamb chops platter for two people and were surprised to receive only four small pieces. The dish was not only expensive as 60 pounds for 4 average chops is too high of a price, but it also felt deceiving as it was not clear how much we were paying. Instead of 30 per person it should mention 60 as it was on the receipt and it should say portion for 1 person as the food presented was not near to fine dining but more like a Tradition Greek Tavern Food. Additionally, we were offered a different Tsipouro than we had selected without being informed of the difference in price, resulting in a higher bill than we had anticipated.

Overall, the food was tasty, but it definitely did not justify the high prices. As a result, I can only give a rating of one star, as I feel that the current rating of 4.9 is not deserved and is potentially made up.

In my opinion, a restaurant that deserves five stars should offer a balance of high-quality food and fair prices. Customers should feel that they are getting value for their money and not feel deceived by any misleading presentations or price changes.

Thank you for your attention, and I hope that this feedback can be helpful in improving the customer experience at your...

Hello again, I am so excited to share my wonderful experience yesterday in this lovely recently opened Greek new restaurant. You must try their chicken dish with potatoes and rosemary that was crunchy, so please understand it was not just decorative rosemary you must eat it! This dish it’s what you think when Yaya-Grandmother made chicken for you. It’s super soft and delicious! It was marinated and well balanced. I just cannot fathom dry chicken that many restaurants offer in London. It’s like eating rubber to say at least. Dear Londoners note this! This chicken is soft, succulent with a touch crispness on top. Bravo Chef 🙏 Rice with spinach and mushrooms was nicely done. Soothing to my tummy. Zucchini fritters were great, perfectly fried and crispy all over (that is important) since I had some pretty burned zucchini fritters in some of the restaurants, so it’s nice to see the balance achieved. As lover of Manouri (greek kind of soft cheese) this grilled version with tomato jam was lovely! Grilled pita and tzatziki was delicious too. I am elated to come back for dinner! Watch this space! Don’t...

Vori Greek Kitchen in London is a lovely spot and a true slice of Greece in W11. It has a gentle, rustic charm that instantly feels comforting. The small plates we tried like the zucchini patties, fava bean purée, and pan-fried Metsovone cheese were beautifully presented, full of flavour, and lovingly made. The wine list is thoughtful, and the overall vibe leans casual yet warm. What really stood out was the hospitality. Our server was attentive and made us feel welcome right from the start makes you want to come back. That said, it’s worth noting the prices are on the higher side, and the portions are modest so it’s a dining treat, not a bargain. Overall, a very pleasant experience if you’re in the mood for well-crafted Greek food in a cosy setting.
