This is a fast food burger chain located in Tottenham retail park by Tottenham Hale station. The store itself is reasonable size with a open view so there is plenty of natural lighting and offers both indoor and outdoor seating area. Upon arriving you can see x2 hand sterilisers but both were empty. However, the store is quite busy with both customers and delivery drivers and there is only one person on the till. The store has x3 self-order machines but they seem to be acting up. I didn't have to wait long for the meal but unfortunately the food was luke-warm and this is such a shame. The portion is chips are very small and the store see m to have a hard time balancing orders. The self-serve drinks machine was broken and the toilets were unavailable for use? They do have a drive through section which was empty but I'm not sure if you order from here if your food will be hot or not. Next to the till on a side part they had a stack of the burger king paper crowns which you could pick up and also they provide toddler high-chairs. Overall the potential for a great service store for families and friends but it's just lacking at the moment. The lack of stuff here is evident as it is a popular spot and gets very busy. (Tip: use the Burger King app for get special offers and deals that are available)
Recently went back here to grab a quick bite (March) and the staff at the front were so rude and loud. They were shouting at me to use the machine to order but I'm using the app which needs a member of stuff to manually add the code on the till. The women didn't serve me and I just got up and left. The Uber delivery drivers were saying how this is the worst branch and the staff don't care. Because of this my rating has gotten lower and I don't recommend this place to anyone unless they want rude service, cold food and...
Read moreMy second visit to this Burger King in 2 weeks in a row. On my first visit didn’t really have a good experience with their staff, they are totally ignorant like you don’t exist there, they are in their own world don’t even want to talk to you but however I thought I should give it an other try, literally just left the drive thru again and even worse this time. After placing my order came to the payment and collection window, one of the staff members I believe the same one who takes the orders, pushed the card machine out of the window without even looking at me, no hello or anything. At the same time was taking someone else’s order through the headset, when I looked at the card machine I could see that amount wasn’t on there, so I told her that it’s not at payment stage yet, looked at me like I was wasting her precious time, than second time she pushed the machine I could make a payment, never been asked if I wanted any sauces or anything nevermind. Than I asked for my receipt but she wander off without saying anything so I assumed she didn’t hear me, than I started saying “hello, hello” to get someone’s attention to give me my receipt, than someone else shouted without even looking that “she’s coming” After a while she handed me the receipt again no talking. I have worked in hospitality over 15 years and been in a general manager position over 8 years in big chain restaurants but have never seen a customer service like that at all. Customer service is below zero, like they hate seeing us there, never been uncomfortable to get something that I make a payment for. Second nearest Burger King is 20 mins further away but instead of being treated like this I’m happy to drive even further and make purchases from people who actually value you as a customer. My rate is 1 but I would give...
Read moreI came here on the 10th of January 2025 and had a horrifying experience which left me feeling completely shaken and violated. I’m a woman with a medical condition called Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, which can affect my physical appearance. After placing my order at the kiosk, I used the women’s toilet, which was a private, single-occupancy cubicle.
As I opened the door to leave, a slightly overweight black afro woman staff member who appeared to be on cleaning duty was standing right outside the door waiting for me. Upon opening the door to exit, she immediately ordered me to flush the toilet which I hadn’t even used, and then asked, “Is this the men’s toilet?” I was confused, and asked what she meant. Instead of clarifying, she stared me down and demanded to know, “Are you a man or a woman?” Not just once, but multiple times, in an aggressive and confrontational tone.
I was absolutely stunned and couldn’t even process what was happening. I felt ambushed, humiliated, and utterly disrespected. I left the restaurant in a state of panic, without even collecting the food I had paid for. I submitted two complaints to Burger King’s customer service via the online form several weeks apart, each time ticking the response that I need a reply but they never responded.
As a trans ally, I find this behaviour unacceptable and dangerous. People like this make marginalised individuals feel unsafe simply for existing. And the fact that Burger King chose to ignore this entirely says everything about how seriously they take discrimination.
No one should have to endure this kind of treatment. I will never return to...
