The experience was ruined I don't recommend this place! The staff were very greedy for money trying to force us to order more than we need to! One girl made a remark that the Turkish breakfast for two is only for two people , we had already ordered alot more food before she made her irrelevant comment , 12 people including kids obviously won't eat a full adults portion! we spent over £160 and this girl with long blonde hair is trying to force us to order more food!

Sucuk pide took an hour to come they claimed there was something wrong with the kitchen not taking the order which is no fault of our own, other members of our group came half an hour after the first order of sucuk pide and those pides we ordered 30mins after the first pide came before the first order of the pide we ordered absolutely pathetic!

There was one iraqi guy who was absolutely lovely I did not catch his name!

Spend your money somewhere where the business appreciates your hard earned money rather than trying to force you to order way more than you will possibly eat and the customer service is absolutely horrendous, it's not about making customers happy it's about how much money they can get out of each customer.

Clearly this business encourages food waste and has no knowledge of customer service, they were complaining about us not ordering for 20 people when there was only 12 including kids, funny thing is there was no queue there was empty seating inside and outside, so if anything they should be grateful for the sales they were getting rather than trying to force us to order more. They claim they have policies in place but don't tell you about them and no policies are advertised in the restaurant, we have been before so we know how the system works!

The fact this restaurant is not grateful for the sales they receive and are greedy for higher bills shows how much they understand about running and a business! Deluded business owners!

Then trying to claim our feedback is false is beyond unprofessional and rude! Like mentioned previously this place has no skills of customer service or customer...

Good location, great breakfast, friendly staff. It’s very busy, considering I went there on a Tuesday, it was almost full! I didn’t plan ahead so haven’t booked a table but I was lucky to get a table with no waiting time:) Despite the reviews about slow service, I have received my order, which was breakfast for one, less than 10 minutes, which again, considering how busy they were, was fantastic. What comes as breakfast is not mentioned in the menu so I add it here, also for some, who said we didn’t know if we got everything or missed something as it doesn’t say what’s included in the menu, I checked with their staff and also checked sneaky all the breakfast trolleys passing by, and it’s all the same as I will add here 😅😅😄Breakfast for one was; 2 spinach and feta rolls, sucek which is like a thick salami, and sausage (small and cut in half) , one triangle cheddar cheese slice and one feta, a bit of cucumber and tomato, some olives, jam, honey, tahini(sesame seed paste)mixed with pecmes(grape syrup) and a slice of apple and orange, bread basket( cimit and another type), Turkish omelet (menemem) which is fried egg and tomato, and Turkish tea. Breakfast for two, just doubles everything. I enjoyed and loved it and was more than enough for me, couldn’t even finish half of it but I am not a great eater and I’m more of a taster 😅so I love the variety and taste, and quality and freshness always wins over quantity,So I can not say if that’s enough or not ,as I read some reviews before I went there mentioning that breakfast was not enough to fill full 🤷🏻‍♀️ All was fresh and nicely cooked and prepared though. Also it’s £17 for one, and £28.95 for two and is served until 4 pm. However, the atmosphere is not the greatest, and was a negative factor.lacking a good music or some sort of nice atmosphere which adds to the simple interior design not in a good way was a downside. There are a few small tables available outside as well, which I don’t know how enjoyable it could be sitting in a busy road side, but still fresh air and hopefully sunny weather can make a difference...

I usually do not write negative views, as I dislike criticising or harming a business. But there a few things you must know if you wish to dine here. If you are a person who frequents Edgware road, which is very famous for its many Lebanese and Iraqi eateries, please take it as a foreigner's take on Turkish food, none of the food is made by turks but instead by some indians and araps. There is nothing wrong in this of course, but if you wish to try actual turkish food, please go elsewhere, as this is one of the poorest places I have visited. If you wish to take a few cute photos for instagram then it is fine. This place falsely markets itself as 'Turkish', if the quality was fine I would not have an issue with this. The sucuk is of extremely poor quality, I have never tasted such awful sucuk, the jam is also very cheap, the qaymaq is most likely from a tin. The honey used is also extremely cheap. There is no acuka served here. The olives are also cheap and rancid. The 'menemen' tastes like an arap shakshuka. The only items of any decent quality were the Burek, and the Simit, which are most likely frozen. Lastly I will say one more thing, the service is extremely poor, and the staff will treat you like dirt if you are not from the middle east, which is hilarious considering they market themselves as 'Turk' and are then rude to Turks who come here. I will ensure that nobody I know ever visits this place. If you want to try an inauthentic, poor quality breakfast, that is NOT turkish, but can give a few cute instagram photos then...

@bursarestaurant_london always stood out to me on Edgware Road whether I'm walking by or driving. I checked their menu and they had a Baklava with Turkish ice cream so I had to check it out of course. It's quite a nice change inside with high ceilings and refreshing decor. You'd assume they have a pure Turkish menu but they also have the likes of biryani, karak chai and also some Iraqi dishes. From the starters my picks were the Lamacun and the Batata Harra. Lamacun was on point and the Batata potatoes had such a nice crunch to them, kept me munching on. From the mains the mixed grill has a bit of everything and everything was decent. The ribs stood out to me as they were especially salty (in a good way) and you had the usual Turkish bbq favorites. They also have a Iraqi Quzi and the lamb shank was as tender as the ones I've had in proper Iraqi restaurants. Dessert was what I was looking forward to most and the baklava with turkish ice cream went down well. Not bad for £9.50 and it was enjoyable. The kunefe was housemade and actually really good. Just let down by a ice cream which was too frosted but none the less really good. Overall a nice spot to check out if you're craving Turkish on Edgware Road!

The highlight of the breakfast was the menemen – a traditional Turkish scrambled eggs dish cooked with tomatoes, green peppers, and spices. Its robust flavors paired beautifully with the savory sucuk, a spicy Turkish sausage, and slices of pastirma, a seasoned air-dried cured beef. Freshly brewed Turkish tea was served in elegant tulip-shaped glasses, providing a perfect balance to the rich and varied flavors of the meal. Each sip was a comforting reminder of the tradition and culture behind the cuisine. The staff at Bursa Restaurant were attentive and knowledgeable, eager to explain the origins of each dish and ensure I had a memorable experience. Their passion for Turkish cuisine was evident in every aspect of the meal, from the quality of the ingredients to the meticulous presentation. Overall, my breakfast at Bursa Restaurant in Marble Arch was a delightful journey through Turkish culinary traditions. It was an experience that not only satisfied my appetite but also deepened my appreciation for the rich cultural tapestry of Turkish food. I left the restaurant feeling nourished and eager to return for another taste of Turkey in the heart of London.
