This business has a history of rude staff read other reviews but tonight went beyond rude.

Avoid this place unless you want to be threatened by staff with physical assault.

My friend when he asked for hot drinks he was asked aggressively

"Are you NOT going to order food!"

So essentially this business will DEMAND you order what they want you to order.

Secondly it's 11pm at night who orders food at this time!

At time of payment my friend forgot his bank card pin, to make things easier I said I'll pay to make things easier.

WAIT was what the same server shouted aggressively. He became even more aggressive when I asked about his abrupt tone.

Worse he addresses three of us in street like threatening manner "listen yeah I'm not being rude pay and get out!"

His ever increasing tone demonstrated he was ready to become physical.

Shocking! Was about to happily call the police as the situation warranted but my friends pressed me to leave it.

Do yourself a favour stay away from this dangerous place unless you like to be physically threatened.

Iraqi Family owned business, cafe, in Arabic densely populated Edgware road where non alcoholic beverages, Middle food and Hokkah are served.

The reasons for visiting Palm palace cafe and elsewhere in London are the following folds:

  1. Food is quite authentic Middle Eastern with highest hygienic standards! No complaints about the taste as it is unequivocally not compromised at all!

  2. All sorts of non- alcoholic beverages, cold & hot, are nicely prepared!

  3. Service is prompt and friendly to the polite personal level!

  4. Hokkah & Shisha are well- prepared with the best quality of various tobbaco!

  5. Location is One of the best locations in a highly dense Arabic populated contingent areas in London, 84 Edgware Street. The nearest tube station is Marble Arch!

  6. Prices are quite reasonable and in line with the market!

It is highly recommended to visit Palm Palace cafe whenever you are craving for a mouth watering mixed grill kebab or biryani....etc or only drinks and a sensetional grape mint...

My friend went to the toilet after ordering. While he was peeing, he felt something tapping on his shoes, turned out it was a mouse. He freaked out and almost had a heart attack. He got out of the toilet and one the staff saw him and then went it and killed the mouse. After he returned, he told the waitress/administrator, the waitress shockingly did not apologise or anything, rather he told my friend that “it is London” and “rats are everywhere”, he got tempered because we were bothered by it, he was vey rude. My friend decided to stay and try to enjoy the food anyways, except the food was horrible, I still feel the dryness of the food in my mouth. The shawarma was really bad. But to be fair my friend gave a positive review about the Kabsa. Would not recommend at all! The staff treats the mice as it is something really normal to see in a restaurant! Personally, I would not spend a penny in this place. Really terrible food and...

It's my go to restaurant when I am in Edgware Road, portion are of good sizes, I often take half of my plate away as I can't finish everything. I love the fresh fruits cocktail! Granted, service can take a toll when they are very busy but being a regular customer, I always get treated nicely even though my visits aren't that close. Have tried many of the dishes from their shawarma sandwich to shish taouq plate and roasted chicken and lamb shank (ghouzi) as well as the sides such as the lentil soup, chicken soup, sujook etc. Recommend them all! The best thing when I went back today, as soon as I walked through the door, the manager asked for a fruit cocktail to be prepared🍹 I was just taken aback and positively surprised as the last time I was there was probably 3 months ago. Thank you to the great team at Palm's Palace. الله يعطيكم العافيه

Walked past this establishment on my way to pick up a few items at the Tesco. I usually take photos, but since I wasn’t planning to have dinner, I purchased the food as take-out. Sorry! I wish I could show you how delicious the food was and the ample portions! I ordered some chicken soup & lamb shawarma. Absolutely delicious! After I returned to the hotel I saw some negative reviews on TripAdviser. Trust me on this…you will love this food! The gentleman at the door (probably the proprietor) was so helpful and kind. Truly a well-run business. I will return for another meal before I leave London.

I spent a day visiting the amazing silk road exhibition in the British museum and somehow ended up on Edgeware Road looking for a quick bite to eat. I decided to try the Palms Palace cafe and tried a lamb shawarma and an ayran. The shawarma was piping hot and tasty and the ayran was the perfect drink with it. Not the healthiest option I could have tried but it tasted really good on a cold winter day. Service was warm and friendly and I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.
