Overall I was not happy with my experience here. Firstly the customer service I got from the worker was terrible. He was extremely rude and made me feel like I was putting him out by ordering something from him.

Next the time it took to cook the food. Bearing in mind myself and partner went at 4:00pm it was not busy at all and it didn't look like the staff were even cooking orders at the time we ordered. But we must have been waiting 45 minutes for our food. In that time I could clearly see the manager come in and get some food prepped and cooked for his friend who arrived after us!!! This is not good service!!! Cooking something for your mate whilst you ignore previous orders is not on!!!

Lastly the food. First the positive. The burger i got was pretty good. It had a tasty sauce which was quite spicy and overall I enjoyed. However the chips were stone cold. Considering this appeared to be the only order they cooked at the time (believe me, I was constantly looking) then I would've figured the food would've been piping hot. We also ordered popcorn chicken. Some of them tasted okay. Some of them were not even chicken but were just deep fried batter without anything inside! But they were also cold!!

Overall this was not a good dining experience for me. Maybe if they got their priorities right instead of focusing on mates and send their food out hot then it would be a lot better. Serious room for improvement. Scores below:

I visited Butchies Victoria one evening in January 2025, looking for a late-night meal, and it did not disappoint. Located in a vibrant food court, the place had a lively, fun atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a bite after a long day. While seating is shared between vendors, I took my order to go, but there was plenty of space to sit if needed.

Service & Ordering The service was quick, friendly, and professional, even late in the evening. Everything was made fresh to order—no food sitting around waiting to be picked up. Watching my meal being prepared on the spot was a nice touch, and it made a difference in taste!

Food Quality & Taste I ordered a burger and chicken tenders with a drink, and every bite was delicious. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. It was easily one of the best fried chicken experiences I’ve had. The portions were also bigger than expected, making the meal very satisfying.

Value for Money Prices fall within the mid-range for London, and considering the quality and portion size, the meal was absolutely worth it. If you're a fan of perfectly fried chicken, this place is a must-visit.

Final Thoughts I have a rule of trying new places whenever I travel, but if I ever get the chance, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Butchies Victoria. Highly recommended for fried...

Where do I start? My wife and I are visiting from Atlanta, GA, which is home to Chick-fil-A and Zaxby’s. We are staying in Victoria, and just happened to stumble into Market Hall Victoria. After walking around the Market we landed on Butchies and man, are we glad we did. Christopher took our order, he was super kind, friendly, and helpful with explaining the different sauces they have. We got our food, it was HOT, FRESH, and DELICIOUS. A British friend of mine told me that England doesn’t have good fried chicken… I am here to say that is PATENTLY false.. and this friend chicken can go head to head with any fried chicken that the south (United States) has to offer. TRULY.. the chicken was CRUNCHY on the outside, JUICY on the inside. The sauces were as described and the meal was an absolute joy.. we are only in town a week but will probably have to eat there one more time before we head back to the states! We came in around 9:30PM, so I can also vouch for their food being fresh at a non busy hour! I am glad we came when we did (at a slower time) because we got to speak to the team for a little while, and they were all an absolute joy to speak with!
