Honestly I never do this but I am well offended by the service. It is Sunday the 6th of October 1.20. There is a lady of African decent working behind the counter and taking orders. 1) No greeting 2) No smile while we smiled at her 3) She wouldn't face us while talking to her 4) She'd portray an attitude if we asked her a question about the products. 5) We said 'thank you' to her many time to which there was no response 6) She's raised her voice when responding to us which made us feel emabrased as there were other customers around. She made us feel unwelcome and belittled. It is my local and I feel apprehensive to go there again.

My experiences here have always exceeded my expectations with their delightful offerings. The Pistachio Frappe was an exquisite blend of flavors, striking the perfect balance between refreshing and indulgent, making it an absolute delight for my taste buds. The Pistachio Sliced Cake was a masterpiece in itself – every forkful was a symphony of rich pistachio goodness that left me craving for more. The ambiance was inviting, providing a serene escape in the heart of the bustling city, and the staff's friendly demeanor added to the overall wonderful experience.

If you are looking to ruin your coffee experience while interacting with lazy arrogant staff, this is the spot for you. Apparently you get a take a way cup even though you are intending to have your coffee in house. Some people love to sit and have their coffee in peace, not in a go go style. Tables are dirty and full of used cups that have not been removed from previous customers.

Absolutely disgraceful service!! Ordered a small latte. The lady made a medium latte by mistake. Then asks me if I ordered a medium or small? I said I ordered a small. She got annoyed and threw the 'hot latte' across the counter into the sink in the corner causing a huge splash and mess! Her behaviour was totally unprovoked and very threatening and intimidating. She then made me a small latte and thumped it on the table, which I took and left the shop as quickly as possible. After 10 min I called the branch and asked to speak to the manager. She told me SHE WAS THE MANAGER! I asked her if she was the person who served me a few minutes ago and threw the cup of latte across the shop into the sink? She said "yes" This shocked me even more! I couldn't believe it! A manager behaving in such disgusting manner!! I told her I would be reporting her behaviour to head office. I called head office and logged my complaint. I was assured that the Area Manager would investigate this and review CCTV etc and take appropriate action. Lets see if this woman is still there when I next visit (...IF I EVER VISIT AGAIN) It maybe better purchasing elsewhere from now as Cafe Nero clearly do not train their "MANAGERS" on customer care skills! An...

I recently had a very unpleasant experience at Caffe Nero. While I generally appreciate the service here, one specific encounter left me deeply disappointed. a. On my visit, I was feeling unwell and needed some time to gather myself before placing my order. Despite the shop being far from full with many empty seats in the front, middle and back, a particular staff member barista — a slightly tall slim older Black female employee with bundled-up black hair — displayed an unprofessional attitude towards me in the evening during her shift. Rather than offering understanding or patience, she seemed intent on pressuring and targeting me to leave, apparently in favor of giving my seat to a preferred customer or relation. b. Her behavior felt personal and unwelcoming, which was both surprising and upsetting in what I otherwise considered a friendly establishment. It’s crucial for all employees, regardless of personal preferences, to maintain fairness and respect toward all patrons. Unfortunately, this interaction did not reflect that standard. c. I hope the management will address this issue to ensure that all customers feel equally valued, respected, and treated with kindness, regardless of the...

Tried to have a cup of coffee and toastie but my God, what a filthy place. The floors have not been cleaned for ages so there is thick grime on it, the white tiles and wood floor have literally changed colour from the dirt. The wall paper has tea and dirt stains all over. The seats are disgustingly dirty and in fact some of the upholstery was torn. Even the display counter has panelling falling off. I had to ask the staff to clean the table we sat at and clear the used cups and spoons. It was so filthy we left the coffee and toastie and went across to another restaurant for breakfast(baker & spice). Clearly not up to Cafe Nero standards and very very unsanitary. Pets are also allowed in, so you would expect cleaning to be more efficient. Disappointing in the least. The red curtains coming in are absolutely revolting. Someone needs to do some serious deep cleaning here at least and complete renovation at best....
