Casa Jardim — Restaurant in London

Came in to do some work on my laptop and was challenged by a member of staff informing me no computers were allowed on premises between 12 and 3, despite no signposting of such rules anywhere. Having already paid for my coffee I felt entitled to continue working on my laptop rather than ask for a refund

Upon leaving I asked if there was a toilet I could use. I was first ignored, and then practically barked at telling me they were downstairs.

If you don't want patrons using laptops to do work in your coffee shop during those hours it is your duty to make it clear before they place an order

Excellent service and a nice little location close to Euston station but with a quiet feel. Our family got rained on so we ducked into Casa Jardim for some coffee and cake and to dry off. The place was nearly full and they had a large reservation coming soon, so there wasn't room inside for us. The owner kindly offered to bring a table in from outside and seated us in the shop area.

The coffee was very tasty but the cakes were quite dry, which is the only negative I have. The selection of items for sale was also very cool and we would have purchased a few things if we hadn't been travelling with full bags.
