I've been to Cream Dream countless times and it’s always been a pleasure. It’s one of those rare spots in London where everything just seems to come together – the service is consistently excellent, the tables are always spotless (it should be a standard but sadly, it’s rare in London!) and the staff are not only polite but genuinely friendly. You can tell they really care about making you feel welcome and go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience.
I actually hosted my friend’s birthday there back in June and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. They were more than happy to help with the arrangements and you could see the attention to detail from the get-go. It’s not often you find a place willing to host a small gathering that still manages to make it feel special.
The cakes and pastries are another level – always fresh, beautifully presented, and, crucially, they taste as good as they look. It’s rare to find that kind of quality in London. The selection is varied and everything I've tried so far has been spot on. My British friends were shocked when they’ve tried the Jam Jar cakes as they’ve never seen a cake with so many details and unusual shape that also has an exceptional flavour.
Recently, I ordered two birthday cakes for my own celebration and Yelyzaveta couldn’t have been more helpful. She talked me through the different flavours, advised the colours and even sent over photos of cakes they’d done in the past. The whole process was so straightforward, and I felt like I was in good hands from start to finish. Honestly, not even some of the places that only specialise in birthday cakes offer that kind of direct, personal service.
Can’t wait to see the birthday cakes I ordered 🙌🏻
The place is ran by a bunch of 20-something year olds and beats all pastry cafes that have been in London for 1-2 decades. They have a lot to...

Long version: Bit of a story, I’m from London originally but live in Birmingham now. I was in London to meet with my family in the morning, but the afternoon to my self before going home.
When in London, I love to try out the vegan places I’ve not been to since I left.
Basically just googled “vegan” - and was excited to see a Ukrainian vegan café and what was on the menu. I spent a lot of time working in Eastern Europe About 10 years ago, and trying to find some of the dishes (and be vegan) I had while out there or trying to replicate at home isn’t that easy.
Well, I wasn’t disappointed! I had the Deruny, and I had a bit of an emotional response to it. It tasted home-made, and the mushrooms in the middle were just the best! A host family (Who were unusually vegetarian for the area I was staying) I stayed with very many years ago used to make this dish and serve it on similar cookware too. It was so yummy and delicious - so beautifully presented.
I was also brave and tried the Bumble Coffee, which was beautifully presented and I actually quite liked it (But full disclosure, I hate fruit drinks so… 😂 it’s ok it wasn’t my favourite, But I’m so glad I tried it)
I then had an eclair, Which was light and creamy.
I honestly enjoyed my meal so much, and I’ll definitely go the next time I’m in London.
Having subsequently looked on their Instagram I know they have a story about people complaining about how expensive their desserts are. To anybody that thinks it’s expensive 1) The mains are not expensive at all for a central London café 2) The drinks are not expensive at all for a central London café 3) I would say the deserts are averagely priced for a central London café 😂
I certainly thought it was worth...

The açai bowl was a burst of fresh, vibrant fruit, perfectly paired with rich, crunchy chocolate granola 🍌🫐. The avocado toast with smoked salmon was an explosion of flavour, creamy, savoury, and unforgettable 🥑. Every dish we tried was 100% vegan and gluten-free, making this café ideal for anyone with dietary preferences or just looking for healthy, tasty café options.
We couldn’t resist the sweet treats either. The Yana Coffee Caramel melted in my mouth, it’s officially my favourite! Amy and Hannah loved the Not Ur Oxy Honey Honey Cherry. For drinks, I had the pink matcha, which was light, fruity, and perfectly refreshing after a long walk. Hannah’s almond milk flat white was equally enjoyed, smooth, rich, and expertly made.
Beyond the incredible vegan and gluten-free menu, Cream Dream shines because of the passion, dedication, and positivity of the women running it. Supporting this café means enjoying flavourful, Instagram-worthy dishes while contributing to an impactful, socially conscious business.
