📍 Cream Dream, Ukrainian Women-Run Café & Vegan Delights 💕🩷 Cream Dream is an absolute gem and a must-visit for anyone who loves vegan, gluten-free, and wholesome café food. This incredible Ukrainian women-led business is not only inspiring in their mission to support Ukraine, they sell bracelets to raise funds and even collect vape batteries to send back home, but also in the way they serve delicious, thoughtful food that delights every sense. The açai bowl was a burst of fresh, vibrant fruit, perfectly paired with rich, crunchy chocolate granola 🍌🫐. The avocado toast with smoked salmon was an explosion of flavour, creamy, savoury, and unforgettable 🥑. Every dish we tried was 100% vegan and gluten-free, making this café ideal for anyone with dietary preferences or just looking for healthy, tasty café options. We couldn’t resist the sweet treats either. The Yana Coffee Caramel melted in my mouth, it’s officially my favourite! Amy and Hannah loved the Not Ur Oxy Honey Honey Cherry. For drinks, I had the pink matcha, which was light, fruity, and perfectly refreshing after a long walk. Hannah’s almond milk flat white was equally enjoyed, smooth, rich, and expertly made. Beyond the incredible vegan and gluten-free menu, Cream Dream shines because of the passion, dedication, and positivity of the women running it. Supporting this café means enjoying flavourful, Instagram-worthy dishes while contributing to an impactful, socially conscious business. If you’re looking for healthy brunch spots, vegan cafés, gluten-free treats, or simply a feel-good place to enjoy amazing food and drinks, Cream Dream should be at the top of your list. We are so grateful to experience this unique café and support such an empowering women-led business.

Almost everything here was flawless, and the attention to detail is mind-boggling. The poached egg was such a treat for me as a long-term vegan. I can’t wait to try their fried egg! The aubergine rolls were a real highlight, I can’t stop thinking about them. Incredible sour soup too. The potato and mushroom varenyky were perfect. Spinach waffle - delicious. Wow wow wow. The cottage cheese/pea/dill varenyky didn’t have the optimal balance of flavours for me, but the texture of the cheese filling was fantastic and the dish was still overall tasty. The coffee with orange juice/strawberry is a cool concept, but the juice didn’t at all mellow out the coffee, resulting in an intense syrupy sourness. Which some people will really enjoy - not me, though, as a creamy latte lover! The berry lemonade was really tangy (even after mixing), but the strawberry at the bottom was delicious. It was a good drink, but we weren’t wanting something super sour and it was slightly unexpected. The desserts… just wow. I haven’t been able to eat an eclair for about a decade and it was a dream come true. The Kyiv cake is the best cake I’ve ever had in my life, not kidding - and I’m picky! I might honestly come to London again just to eat here. I can’t wait to try everything on their menu. It’s already one of my favourite restaurants of all time. The one problem is, the access ramp is far too steep to actually allow any wheelchair users to enter.

The varenyky were delicious, the cheese was like tofu not gross fake vegan cheese. Cooked slightly al dente style and served with a sour cream/dill taste kept it very fresh. The Jam Jar cake was a white chocolate shell covered with tarte but sweet jelly. Slightly cream inside with a really strong raspberry jam centre and blueberries inside. The lid was a soft biscuit and it was not too sweet but definitely sweet enough. It was a dream dessert!!! Honestly this was fantastic so many elements to it! The rhubarb tart was semisweet. I thought the rhubarb was a little bit stringy and could have been softer to be honest. But the biscuit shortbread base and almond paste layer was extremely good. I thought this would be my favourite but shame about the rhubarb. I just saw another reviewer thought this too so this would be an easy fix. The eclair was very dark chocolate, a bit bitter, with a peanut cream layer and also a dark chocolate ganache style layer. Whole peanuts are under the chocolate shell layer on top. Not very sweet at all. The layers and effort that went into how this made it quite special. If you don't have such a sweet tooth you will love this. All in all it is an extremely pretty cafe to sit in, the staff are beyond friendly and helpful. The details are really intricate from the food down to the flower napkin holder makes it quite a special place to visit. I highly recommend checking it out

I've been to Cream Dream countless times and it’s always been a pleasure. It’s one of those rare spots in London where everything just seems to come together – the service is consistently excellent, the tables are always spotless (it should be a standard but sadly, it’s rare in London!) and the staff are not only polite but genuinely friendly. You can tell they really care about making you feel welcome and go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience.

I actually hosted my friend’s birthday there back in June and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. They were more than happy to help with the arrangements and you could see the attention to detail from the get-go. It’s not often you find a place willing to host a small gathering that still manages to make it feel special.

The cakes and pastries are another level – always fresh, beautifully presented, and, crucially, they taste as good as they look. It’s rare to find that kind of quality in London. The selection is varied and everything I've tried so far has been spot on. My British friends were shocked when they’ve tried the Jam Jar cakes as they’ve never seen a cake with so many details and unusual shape that also has an exceptional flavour.

Recently, I ordered two birthday cakes for my own celebration and Yelyzaveta couldn’t have been more helpful. She talked me through the different flavours, advised the colours and even sent over photos of cakes they’d done in the past. The whole process was so straightforward, and I felt like I was in good hands from start to finish. Honestly, not even some of the places that only specialise in birthday cakes offer that kind of direct, personal service.

Can’t wait to see the birthday cakes I ordered 🙌🏻

The place is ran by a bunch of 20-something year olds and beats all pastry cafes that have been in London for 1-2 decades. They have a lot to...

Quick summary - Wow! Love it.

Long version: Bit of a story, I’m from London originally but live in Birmingham now. I was in London to meet with my family in the morning, but the afternoon to my self before going home.

When in London, I love to try out the vegan places I’ve not been to since I left.

Basically just googled “vegan” - and was excited to see a Ukrainian vegan café and what was on the menu. I spent a lot of time working in Eastern Europe About 10 years ago, and trying to find some of the dishes (and be vegan) I had while out there or trying to replicate at home isn’t that easy.

Well, I wasn’t disappointed! I had the Deruny, and I had a bit of an emotional response to it. It tasted home-made, and the mushrooms in the middle were just the best! A host family (Who were unusually vegetarian for the area I was staying) I stayed with very many years ago used to make this dish and serve it on similar cookware too. It was so yummy and delicious - so beautifully presented.

I was also brave and tried the Bumble Coffee, which was beautifully presented and I actually quite liked it (But full disclosure, I hate fruit drinks so… 😂 it’s ok it wasn’t my favourite, But I’m so glad I tried it)

I then had an eclair, Which was light and creamy.

I honestly enjoyed my meal so much, and I’ll definitely go the next time I’m in London.

Having subsequently looked on their Instagram I know they have a story about people complaining about how expensive their desserts are. To anybody that thinks it’s expensive 1) The mains are not expensive at all for a central London café 2) The drinks are not expensive at all for a central London café 3) I would say the deserts are averagely priced for a central London café 😂

I certainly thought it was worth...
