Located on the busy bumbling Brick lane as we all no parking can be scarce, so I try to go in the evenings or on Sundays to avoid this. This branch can also be hard to find if you’re not looking but it’s near the hot beigal (bagel) shop, I think it’s kinda camouflaged with the graffiti lolz. It’s got a small seating area at the back kind of minimal decor and the also have their own merchandise instore. Needs no intro with the freshly handmade doughnuts made every day (no stale doughnuts here guys) and the ingredients they have chosen these guys have done their research!! Furthermore at this branch even at the late times you can also manage to grab some of the poplar ones. The classic Tongan vanilla glaze needs nothing else added the flavour speaks for itself and you’ll be lapping up every bit of that sugar glaze lolz, raspberry jam ( with freeze dried raspberry also has seeds inside and generously filled to the brim ), cinnamon scroll my personal fave so soft, fluffy with the gooey cinnamon sugar omg don’t get me started again!! For me the price is justified worth every penny so I definitely recommend trying it out, which ones will you go for?

We ordered a flat white and a Tongan Vanilla Matcha Latte, intending to go for the 2 x coffee & and doughnut deal. However, we had only communicated one doughnut initially, so only one deal was processed along with an additional coffee. It was an unfortunate mix-up, as we would have spent £15 instead of £11. That said, the staff member was lovely and very helpful while we were choosing our doughnuts. Our drinks arrived promptly at the table. Partway through drinking mine, I realised I had been given the wrong drink but didn’t mention it. Later, the staff member noticed the mistake herself, apologised sincerely, and offered to make me the correct drink. She even said I should have let her know sooner! I kindly accepted her offer, and the replacement was perfect. It goes without saying that the cinnamon iced doughnut was exquisite. Despite the small hiccups, we enjoyed our time at this Crosstown branch. One tweak I would recommend is to have a clearer signage outside as we had initially walked past the store.

One of my favourite doughnut places. It’s a shame that the Walthamstow branch closed down. I like how they now have mini ones. My all time favourite has to be lime and coconut. I’ve also enjoy the 4th of July limited edition apple pie one. Cinnamon scroll is always available and you can’t go wrong with this option if you like cinnamon. They have a pride month doughnut which is beautifully flavoured, the combination of passion fruit and coconut icing goes perfectly together. It’s also very appealing to my eyes. Unfortunately, you might have a fave doughnut such as I do, that they can discontinue it which is upsetting. Luckily, they have brought back the lime and coconut one before so I am hoping for this to happen again. I will enjoy the pride doughnut until they discontinue, but it sucks that this will probably be the case!

Product: very very good! Tasty, fresh! Really nice. We had a few and all were really delishious. Service: really bad! I went with a friend and my children, i never felt welcome, they weren't friendly at all. When i asked if they had a simple doughnut with custard, (it was my first time in that shop and knew nothing about their produts) i felt like i offended the waiter with my question, who replied not in a friendly way. This could be a great time to, perhaps, engage with the customer and promote the product you are being paid to sell!! Plus product is not cheap!! It took me a while to decide what i wanted and when i finally decided i looked at the waiter face, it felt a burden for her to serve me! I was observing the service while there and really.... When we left we said bye, we could hardly hear a decent, happy goodbye or thank you, from the 2 waiters who served us. There was a waiter that came after we were served that actually looked at us and said thank you! For me service is something important and probably will never go in...
