So went here as a couple for breakfast on a wet Sunday morning. We arrived at 10:30am to be told there is a wait of around 45 minutes and we should wait across the road - not a great start considering they didn't take phone bookings for groups of less than six? Having thought about it, it was a wet morning so a lot of the tables were not useable and a place in demand should be a good sign. We only waited for around ten minutes before we were called across the street and given a table. We were told our reservation was only for 75 minutes - this took a little away from the expeirence. The menu was a little QR code that needed to be scanned on your phone - nice touch. Don't worry is you don't have an app or something - the QR code just takes you to the drunch website where there is a menu - you could just google 'drunch' to be taken to the same place. We were seated outside - it was raining but we had a canopy. Althought it was a bit nippy, heaters were on which helped and blankets were also placed by every table - very thoughful! Our order arrived very quickly and it was just perfect. Everything we ordered was literally textbook - cooked to perfection. We also learned the place is fully halal which is not something we were aware of and not something I'd seen advertised. After a filling breakfast, we were tempted by the waitress to try a dessert and we couldn't resist. Again, I'm glad we didn't. Absolutely perfect and so filling. The food here is just a must-try! Everything here was really nice except the rushed feeling. Waitresses would stand close almost ushering you to hurry or leave when finished. Although seventy five minutes is a decent amount of time, the staff standing around and quickly clearing tables didn't help us relax. Although it did feel rushed, I can also understand why. The place is honestly a must visit and it served me one of the best breakfasts I've ever had - and I've had many! I would recommend it but be prepared to wait and then to...
Read moreAbsolutely appalling service!!! They weren’t busy yet took someone 20 minutes to come over to take an order. Then 10 minutes later informed us they don’t have fresh mint tea and didn’t bother asking us if we wanted an alternate. Ordered an oat latte which got forgotten about and after chasing the server and waiting another 30 minutes an average cold latte was served. My friend then ordered a latte as well which also got forgotten about and upon several reminders and going up to the staff we finally got it after 30 minutes. Food (few nibbles) took too long to come and was very average. No cutlery was provided. Had to chase them again for this.
When we finally asked for the bill and got it, something didn’t seem right so when my friend checked there was an ‘indulge experience’ extra added for £75!!! Absolutely ridiculous how they think they can scam people as most would just pay without even looking at the bill.
The server told us she would check the bill for us and again disappeared. After 10 minutes I had to walk inside and asked if she sorted the bill to which she said my manager is doing it. He asked me what happened and I explained to him the ordeal and told him I do not wish to pay for the lowsy let-down service and asked for the bill to be corrected. Instead of being apologetic the manager became extremely rude and a bit aggressive saying you should know very well about Drunch and where you have come! (Yes I do know now as you’ve proved yourself well with how poorly you deal with dissatisfied customers!)
He then had the nerve to say he would make me a discount to make me ‘happy.’ Which I refused as I was genuinely unhappy with the whole experience and no amount of ‘discount’ could fix the completely ruined experience of treating a friend for her birthday!
Photos for comparison of the first bill versus what was actually due and paid, basically half the amount!!!

Read moreBelow average and overhyped. We got 2 full English breakfasts and 2 vegetarian full English breakfasts. At £16 each I expected something more than barely edible. The toast was hard, the scrambled eggs were worse than what most people would make half asleep at home, the beans were Heinz served in a little bowl as opposed to the Van, halloumi was low quality and insanely salty (even for me and I usually inhale salt), hash browns were all crunchy oil and no potato. I didn’t bother trying to eat the spinach, mushroom or tomato which all looked bad so I doubt they tasted any good. For the price - major major let down. Coffee was decorated nicely but was served Luke warm and tasteless otherwise. Starbucks coffee tastes nicer and that’s barely coffee! None of it, except the coffee, was even that picture worthy so I’m not sure what the hype is at all - perhaps the bear outside? He didn’t justify it for me. We then got the pancake (I was still hungry) which took 25 minutes and a reminder to the waiter before it came. We were told the pancake would come with berries but it came without, when I asked for the berries afterwards (so I could feed them to my 8 month old baby)they came at a cost of £3 (she didn’t even eat a half a blueberry). Anyways, as someone else said , go to Christopher’s. The food and service there makes it totally worth the money. Here the food nor the service is worth it. They add a 12.5% service charge for service I would get at a local corner kebab shop, and a £1 unicef (optional) contribution which they didn’t even tell us about and was just on the bill? So not sure when I could have opted out?! Total waste of £120 for 4 below average breakfasts. Sooo many nicer places in Mayfair that are actually worth it. Don’t waste your money or time here if you like food and service of...
