Having visited The Farina restaurant on multiple occasions due to its convenient location, I've sampled much of their menu. While the food quality is good and the pizzas are enjoyable, they don't particularly stand out. On the upside, their delivery service is prompt, with us never waiting for more 20 minutes for our pizzas.

However, there are some notable drawbacks. The staff's demeanor leaves much to be desired; they often come across as disinterested and quite unwelcoming. This lack of friendliness has made some of our visits uncomfortable, with one waitress consistently appearing unhappy. It's rare to encounter a staff member who genuinely smiles, (in fact we have only had one waitress smile at us).

Moreover, attention to detail seems to be lacking. During a recent quiet visit, the absence of background music created an awkward atmosphere. Additionally, there have been several instances where parts of our order were forgotten, such as dips, drinks, or even basic tableware, necessitating reminders. The dips, in particular, are served in very small quantities, which is disappointing given the price.

During our last visit, we found only one napkin on the table, which we had to share after noticing the staff's reluctance to assist us. Despite their witnessing our predicament, no offer was made to rectify the situation. It was disheartening to observe one staff member watching as we split the napkin, yet failing to offer us a new one. Furthermore, we've noticed the staff actively avoiding eye contact when we need their service to remind them of forgotten items that we have ordered. (This would be understandable if they were understaffed/busy, but the venue has always been quiet during our visits)

While the food is decent, the unfriendly staff and their disregard for details have detracted from the overall experience. I believe there are better pizza places in the Notting Hill area with friendlier service.

This has not been a unique experience as some friends and family of mine have also visited this restaurant and have also had similar experiences and noted the unfriendly staff.

I will not be returning to Farina for a while due to this as there are many nicer Notting Hill restaurants, however I hope in future when I do visit their staff service will...

As a longtime resident of Notting Hill, I'm always on the hunt for quality Italian food close to home. I was thrilled when Farina, an authentic Neapolitan pizzeria, opened up right in my neighbourhood. As soon as I walked past and got a whiff of the wood-fired oven, I knew I had to give it a try.

My partner and I decided to sit outside on the sidewalk tables to soak up the summer evening. Our server, Fabinana, was an absolute gem - chatting with us about the menu, making recommendations, and ensuring our water glasses were full, all with a lovely Italian lilt to her English.

We decided to go with two classics: the Margherita pizza and the gnocchi. The Margherita was simplicity at its finest - the blistered and chewy crust was the perfect base for tangy tomato sauce, melty buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil. Each bite tasted like summer in Naples. The gnocchi were pillowy soft and dressed in a rich, creamy sauce.

The food, service, and ambiance all came together for an transportive Italian dining experience right in my own neighbourhood. I've found my new local spot! Whether you're a lifelong resident like me or just visiting Notting Hill, Farina is a must for fresh, authentic Italian fare. I'll be sure to ask for Fabinana again on...

I have been to this pizzeria for the first time few weeks ago. I have a huge respect for the italian culture and their delicious food but I couldn't say the same about this place. I have been living in Italy for two years so I know what I am talking about. Me and my husband queued in this place for about two hours before been welcomed. After complaining about this issue a man aksed us why we didn't book in advance. I told him that when I called the day before on the phone I have been told that no reservations are accepted in this restaurant. When the pizza finally came it was absolutely horrible and had left a disgusting taste in my mouth! IT'S NOT OVER! I visited the toilet that was disgusting and made me feel SICK. The smell was nauseating. As I am a Muslim woman, I took off my hijab and a customer man walked in the ladies' toilet. I was absolutely shocked. When the man working there was asked about this inconvenience he laughed at me thinking that I was some sort of joke to be laughed at. I felt completely disrespected. THERE IS ONLY ONE TOILET. CAUSE THE MAN TOILET AIN'T WORKING or it is too dirty to be used! food sucks. customer service is horrible. ONLY 3 PEOPLE WORKING. TEN THOUSAND CUSTOMERS TO BE SERVED.

please. ...

One of the best pizza places in London. There are a few places where you can eat real Italian pizza and this is one of them. In the picture you can see a pizza with something on the top that might look like mozzarella but it's not, it's still a soft cheese but it's called burrata. Take the most exquisite mozzarella you’ve ever tried and imagine tearing it open with a fork (or even better, pulling it apart with your hands), and the smooth white outer skin revealing an oozing soft and creamy interior: the perfect combination of sfilacciata (or “un-pulled”) mozzarella (the root of whose name, “mozzata,” means “chopped off”) and fresh cream. Translated from Italian, burrata literally means buttery, a clue to the delicious melt in your mouth heart that awaits inside the pillowy exterior Burrata originally hails from the city of Andria in Murgia, in the Puglia region of Southern Italy, where it was first made around 100 years ago and is still made by hand with just three simple ingredients: cow’s milk, rennet and cream.

This is lovely pizzeria right in the heart of Notting Hill. Beautiful Napoli style pizza that doesn't skimp on the toppings. The atmosphere here is very light and airy for a relatively small venue. The staff make you feel welcome as soon as step inside, and the pizza chef had a big smile on his face for everybody that said hello. The menu has a nice variety of anti pasti and a varied selection of traditional and unique pizzas. Also a nice surprise of birra moretti on tap. We decided on Burratina and Napoletana pizza, both of which were very satisfying indeed. Good light yet crispy pizza bread and gracious toppings, the Burratina comes with a whole Mozzarella di Bufala in the centre! For dessert we decided on Affogato, it was also very nice. Especially the coffee. We will definitely be returning here.
