Surely the worst italian style pizza I had in London so far. The dough was dry and unproofed. One of the two pizzas we ordered didn't slide off the peel correctly so it was folded up as well as the ingredients poorly distributed. The pizza looked clearly mistaken but they still had the audacity to serve it as if nothing happened. Both pizzas were well uncooked and the dough in the cornice still fresh giving us hard time digesting it. At the end of the meal I asked if they had changed the dough recipe and a member of staff, totally aware of the issue, immediately mentioned that the head chef was complaining for the dough batch to be incorrectly proofed. So the restaurant is consciously serving wrong food to their customers which I find very unprofessional. Overall the pizza wasn't any better than a frozen pizza amd the preparation was incredibly poor.

Went to the broadway market store to collect a couple of pizzas last week. My pizzas were subpar. Lack of ingredients and poorly made, some slices barely had any toppings. The garlic bread you were literally biting slices of garlic, it’s grim. Contacted customer service and was offered a pizza on the house BUT the way the broadway market store dealt with it was beyond poor. I called several times to try to confirm and they didn’t bother to pick up and the one time they did pick up they hang up on my face. My partner was kept waiting for eons when he went to collect it and they were just disinterested in dealing with it. Customer service 1/5. Food 2/5. Definitely not worth what you spend of these basic pizzas. Never again!

One star for the pizza being pretty good but overall I wouldn’t go back for these reasons: I was told there was no dine in seating and the young lady proceeded to seat two parties of white men. I ordered a pizza and pizza bread. She charged me for garlic bread and when I saw my receipt and asked her to correct it she told me they don’t have change and offered to just add an item to the order. I reluctantly chose the lemon almond cake and she gave me one with a live bug in the box. Also there were signs stating pizzas were £5 mon to wed and despite this whole incident taking place on a mon, I was charged full price. So yeah. Would come back as a white man if I could but otherwise will steer clear.

The waitress serving us the food was impolite and had an attitude when we had brought up the two incidents of her forgetting two of the items we had ordered. After having ordered, I had noticed while waiting for the pizzas that my drink was forgotten which I asked if she could bring it to me and then I asked if it was possible for some ice and lemon in a glass but she confused by my request. Then, the pizzas had arrived which were good as always but this time the mixed salad was not given. So we had to remind her of the order of the salad which she then went on to say that it was coming but we overheard her colleague “what salad did they order so I can make it now” . Also, we had noticed that other tables were waiting to be served for a while and that the waitress was making another customers salad while eating which I would say is rather unhygienic. Moreover, a couple had come in about being given the wrong pizzas (despite it saying the correct name on the box) to which that same waitress rolled her eyes and was not accommodating to her mistake which us humans make all the time :). The other colleague was friendly which is what you hope and expect when being served and paying for service charge. I have contacted Franco Manca’s a contact service so I will be waiting for a response to...

One of the best Franco Manca branches I’ve been to so far. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. Not once did we have to ask for more water, they just kept it coming at the right time (surprising or not, a rarity in most restaurants). They seem to have had a change in management or team because I recall being here a while back and this time the service was quite different and enjoyable.

I can be at times specific about what I want (not too much cheese etc) but I got my pizza just how I wanted it and it was not burned underneath which has happened in other Franco Mancas I’ve been to. And although the restaurant was quite busy we got our food in good time. And despite it being a thin base pizza it was quite filling so I plan on coming another time and hopefully I’ll be able to fit in dessert or try their special pizzas of the day😋.

I’d definitely pay it another visit as well as recommend it. And they have a downstairs area which would be nice for a more intimate setting. And a special thank you to Tome who served us, he was so patient while we took forever to decide and made us feel...

The Franco Manca at Broadway Market is a restaurant I won't be able to forget for a long time, not just because of its friendly staff, but because it changed my mind.

Franco Manca has been special to me since I arrived in London, and having tried several outlets, I was convinced that one was superior (which shall remain unnamed) than the others. This changed dramatically when I arrived at this spot on a sunny day, and ordered my regular number 3. We were greeted by the fantastic waiter, whose cheery attitude and warm nature proved the best entree for our meal.

The pizza itself arrived hot, with the crust crispy, the halloumi and potatoes fresh and the tomatoes juicy. The first bite was all it took for the pizza to take my heart, and I spent the entire date obsessed over the unscientific level of love I felt for the dish. The noises I made after each bite should be proof alone that this is by far my favourite joint that Franco Manca has set up in London.

Cant wait to come back and order the same, meet the same dude and perhaps try...
