We visited this restaurant after seeing positive reviews online and chose to sit outside due to the good weather. Both outdoor tables were uncleared, but we sat down anyway as it wasn’t obvious if we had to wait at the door to be seated or not. After about 5-10 mins of being sat there (whilst other tables inside were being cleaned and prepped), we cleared the table ourselves. Pretty much immediately someone comes and clears the table we moved the plates to.

After ordering, the waiter asked us to pay straight away, which I’m fine with, however 12.5% service charge had already been added discreetly (card reader wasn’t presented clearly etc). I asked if the tip could be paid at the end however was told not possible, therefore asked for it be removed as there hadn’t really been very good service so far. The waiter then became noticeably hostile when bringing our food out — no interaction and the plates were essentially thrown on the table (without a single word). Our drinks didn’t arrive until we asked another staff member 20 minutes later which also seemed intentional.

The food itself was good. Unfortunately though the service was poor throughout therefore I wouldn’t recommend this place based on the...

This eatery is perfect for those who want to escape the busy hubbub of london life. My group and I ordered the veggie and vegan mezzo platters alongside a glass of the house white. The hummus included in the platter was the best hummus I have EVER had, and was topped with pomegranate jewels that gave opulent bursts of refreshing flavour. The cauliflowers bites(although having been skeptical) were to die for and seasoned, fried and made to perfection. The platter also had potatoes (similar to the likes of the spanish patatas bravas) and were melt-in the mouth successes! On the menu, the wine was noted as 'organic' and was so drinkable that I asked the waiter for the label. This little humble hub of food and drink paradise allowed for a well-treasure evening full of relaxation, ambience and giving off the sense of a well-earns holiday! Our waiter Jacob was knowledgable, chatty, relaxed, diligent and incredibly friendly which is often rare to experience. He peppered our evening with vigilance, amiable humour, chat and care and quite frankly made our evening a 10/10. A kind thank you to Baba Souks for making a night...

Amazing service and great food. Visisted as a group of four adults with two 18 month olds. We arrived in the local area early and checked whether it might be possible to be seated before our reservation time as some of the party were hungry. Aya & Suki were happy to accommodate this request and gave us the large table in the back. We ordered two wraps and two Batata Harra Hashes. There was some confusion with the latter as there is a similarly named dish on the menu and I faltered when ordering so we were given the wrong dish, but this was really quickly rectified upon raising and the team very kindly removed one dish from the final bill. My meal was delicious and well portioned and the rest of the group were happy with theirs. I also ordered a hot chocolate during our visit and this too was great (see pic). No notes to offer - thanks for an...

We had a great dinner at this lovely - cosy place on Broadway market Saturday evening. Third time visiting and once again, very inspired by tasty food that is nicely presented and full of flavour. Service is great too. However, I must comment on a very poor sound system which is basically one speaker in the corner that visitors are trying to overpower with their voices and it makes the whole place really noisy as narrow interior.. previously I asked for music to be turned down and they were always sweet and helpful. Overall experience was good and will be coming again.

Very high prices for small portions. Salad was tasty but enough for a couple of bites. For 6 pounds it was very insulting. Flat bread was also expensive for the thin piece of dough that it was. Okra fries were good, dal was ok, potatoes were good, spreads were good, overall we paid a lot of money for food made out of simple ingredients and remained hungry and getting more tiny portions was already out of our budget :( won't come back. Maybe appropriate for someone who's looking to only have a snack but not a meal.

Really lovely, chilled out brunch and coffee spot with beautiful interior. Waitress was really lovely, suggested that I add chilli sauce to the halloumi wrap I had (which absolutely made it). The flatbread in the wrap was definitely homemade and really delicious. My friend had the shakshuka, which they said was delicious. Coffee was also super nice (and no extra charge for oatmeal, winner). Would love to know what they pickle the red cabbage in, as it was DELICIOUS. Will definitely be back!
