Gordon Ramsay Street Burger (Charing Cross Road)

Nestled in the bustling heart of London’s downtown, Gordon Ramsay Street Burger on Charing Cross Road is ideally located between Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square. It’s the perfect pit stop for tourists and locals alike, craving a blend of traditional English diner ambiance and modern burger cuisine.

Upon stepping inside, the restaurant immediately feels like a typical English diner with a contemporary twist. The warm lighting and comfortable seating create an inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for a casual meal. The decor effortlessly combines the rustic charm of a classic diner with sleek, modern touches, giving it a unique and appealing vibe.

The service at Gordon Ramsay Street Burger is nothing short of terrific. The staff displays an extraordinary level of care for each guest, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and well-attended to. From the moment you are seated to the time you leave, the service is impeccable. The servers are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding a personal touch to the dining experience that elevates it from ordinary to extraordinary.

As for the food, it does not disappoint. The french fries are simply awesome—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The burgers are equally impressive, with a good selection to choose from and cooked to perfection. Each bite is a delightful experience of flavors and textures, showing off the quality ingredients and the attention to detail that Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants are known for.

Considering its prime location in the city center, the prices at Gordon Ramsay Street Burger are surprisingly reasonable. You might expect to pay a premium for a meal in such a central area, but the pricing here is fair and well worth it for the quality of food and service you receive.

In conclusion, Gordon Ramsay Street Burger on Charing Cross Road is highly recommended. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience in the heart of London. With its excellent service, great food, and reasonable prices, it’s a spot you won’t...

Allergy Roulette: Would Not Recommend

We came in with high expectations, but the vibe was off from the start. The ambience felt cold, not particularly welcoming and honestly, not super clean. For 5 PM, the restroom was already smelly and poorly maintained, which didn’t exactly set the mood for a great meal.

Ordering via mobile? Didn’t work. So much for a modern touch.

One positive: I was asked about allergies, which I appreciated, and I clearly listed them. We ordered the paneer burger with coleslaw and a salad.

The food? Disappointing. The burger was bland, the salad needed extra dressing to taste like anything, and the coleslaw, supposedly “spicy”, was just sad. No spice, no flavor, no effort.

Midway through the meal, I started feeling hot and noticed classic signs of an allergic reaction. I let the staff know, and to their credit, they did try to help. They checked with the kitchen several times and reassured me, repeatedly, that nothing in the food could have triggered it.

Meanwhile, I was turning redder by the minute. (I do have pictures)

One waiter brought me ice cream “to cool down” (an odd but well-meaning gesture). When I asked about the burger, they said it was marinated paneer, but when I pushed for details on the marinade, they had no clue. Eventually, someone guessed it was a “curry marinade,” but couldn’t say what kind. Thai? Indian? Mystery curry? No one knew, but somehow they were all sure that couldn’t be the cause of my reaction…..

Sorry, but I’ve lived in this body for 36 years. I know what I’m allergic to. What I don’t need is staff guessing ingredients, shrugging, and then trying to convince me I must be wrong.

By the time three staff members were brainstorming possible causes, I honestly just wanted to get out of there. I didn’t feel safe or taken seriously. One waitress did come outside afterward to check on me and took down my contact details, which I appreciated.

But overall? Not a place I’d return to. When you walk in hungry and leave anxious, something’s...

I've driven past Gordon Ramsay Street burgers quite a few times as being local person & always thought wow does he actually live up to the name obviously I may fan of Gordon Ramsay shows 🤔

Christmas Eve 24th December. we were a walking customer on first impressions well that's a very small premises I was very surprised

Very nice welcome from your host You're informed that would have to wait 5 to 10 minutes for a table

That's acceptable as we were literally just walking past We didn't book ect

We ordered our food so basically you pay £18 there are various upgrades which we didn't go for

I would say my burger was very tasty But definitely not worth £18 But When you compare it to five guys it's kind of the same and it works out the same money 💰 even know that the restaurant is owned by Gordon Ramsay one my favourite chef

Your drinks choice You certainly don't cater for people who love their spirits but never mind the Coke which we had was £3.95 I would say that's mostly overpriced sadly but You're not the only venue charging the price soft drinks

The overall atmosphere we will near the kitchen It was nice to actually see the kitchen , but there wasn't any air conditioning So it felt a little bit too warm after a while It didn't affect the overall experience

so pleased I actually spotted right at the end of payment service charge basically a hidden tip very pleased that the host refunded that back straight away about an arguement Well done obviously I don't agree with service charge especially at these prices even know this is Central London

We will be returning again That's the question ❓ which Gordon always asks on it on this occasion NO But if the main man made an appearance I would actually come back most definite for special events

Well that's an honest review from an actual blogger We_Love_London_UK...

My recent visit to Gordon Ramsay Street Burger was a delightful experience, marked by exceptional food and attentive service. I opted for The Next Level burger, which was well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The accompanying sidewinder fries were a standout, offering a satisfying crunch and robust seasoning that elevated them beyond typical fries. A notable convenience was the ability to order directly from my phone by scanning a QR code provided at the table, which linked to a user-friendly digital menu. This streamlined the ordering process significantly, allowing for a seamless and modern dining experience. However, I would advise diners to be mindful when settling the bill. I mistakenly closed out my tab early, only to learn that soda fountain drink refills are not complimentary. This required an additional transaction, which could have been avoided by keeping the tab open for potential refills. The service was exemplary, with all staff members displaying genuine warmth and professionalism. Their attentiveness contributed significantly to the welcoming atmosphere. On this particular visit, the restaurant was not busy, with only a few tables occupied, which allowed for a relaxed and intimate dining environment. Overall, Gordon Ramsay Street Burger delivers a great dining experience, for a quick meal.
