đ Hyde Park Corner đşÂ ÂŁ6.85 Whitstable Bay Lager â¤ď¸ Your next favourite pub . The Horse & Groom is located in a picturesque cobbled mews just off Belgrave Square in the heart of Belgravia. The nearest Tube is Hyde Park Corner which is a pleasant ten minute walk away. . This pub was built around 1830 along with wider Belgravia and the mews itâs located in. The mews setting and this pubâs beautiful architecture really set the tone for going for a pint here, I had a big smile on my face as I approached the door. . As you step inside, you walk into a cosy traditional bar which is full of character. The walls are clad in dark wood Georgian panels with a few pictures of The Beatles. The Beatles Manager Brian Epstein lived just around the corner and used to be a regular here, occasionally the Fab Four would attend also. There are two seating areas, a cosy corner to the left and poser tables to the right. The servery is well stocked and has brass fixtures and fittings to complete the traditional feel here. . This is a Shepherd Neame pub, so the beer choice is good. I decided on a pint of Whitstable Bay Lager, you donât see this beer too often on the pumps in London. It was lovely pint and price point was to be expected. There is a British pub classics food menu available, fish & chips costs ÂŁ15.95. . I arrived at 11am just as the pub was opening and was met at the door by a welcoming staff member who was getting the pub ready for the dayâs trade. My Brother and Nephew were on todayâs crawl and we plotted in the cosy corner and all agreed what a great little pub this was. We had a chat with the Guvânor about the cost of a pint across London, he was very personable and a lovely fella. . The Horse & Groom is a wonderful pub in a seductive setting and a boozer you would love to call your local. I absolutely loved this pub and highly recommended a visit here. . âšď¸ Info correct on...
Read moreTook some American clients in to the pub today, in part because of the links to the Beatles and also to have lunch. The barman was very rude and unwelcoming. He shouted across the bar to my American friends that they needed to consider other people whilst they were looking at photos on the wall.
In reply to your message: I stated in my initial message that they were âAmerican clientsâ. I am a tour guide and I was taking a group of four on a nostalgic Beatles tour. They have been huge Beatles fans for 60 years. We arrived at your pub and I said to them that it is a beautiful little pub, and this would be a great place to have a late lunch as this is a pub that the Beatles would frequent. We entered the pub as potential customers but had to leave in a hurry as your abrupt attitude made the people feel very unwelcome. In fact, one of the elderly couple felt the need to escape very quickly. Check your CCTV you will see. You are in a service industry, you should know better. As far as disrupting your guests, My visitors were looking at photos on the wall, the only disruptions were from you ranting abruptly across the bar. If your guests were wanting privacy perhaps a public house is not the best place. You said that you welcome tours, but clearly only if the tourists commit to spending their money first before they look at the photos on the wall. What on earth ever happened to the Great British public house where...

The Horse and Groom in Belgrave is a hidden gem that exudes charm and warmth. This cute, cozy pub delivers on every front, making it a must-visit for anyone in the area.
The Guinness is absolutely fantasticâperfectly poured and as smooth as youâd expect in the finest pubs. The food is equally impressive: the fish and chips are unreal, with crispy batter and flaky, fresh fish that melts in your mouth. The chicken goujons are a savory delightâcrispy, tender, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a joy!
What really sets the Horse and Groom apart is the service. The owner is the nicest youâll meet, creating an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Their genuine care for customers shines through in every interaction.
Whether youâre looking for a quick pint, a hearty meal, or a cozy spot to relax, I couldnât recommend this place more. The Horse and Groom truly captures the essence of a great British pub....
