Iâm not sure if the black male staff member was being discriminatory, but I found his attitude very unprofessional. The employee was extremely unfriendly and spoke in a disrespectful manner. I strongly believe the staff should receive proper customer service training to ensure respectful and professional interactions with all customers.
Hello,
When I asked the staff member how to place my order, he simply replied âfigure it out yourself.â Also, when other customers ordered cola, he opened the bottle caps for them, but he did not do the same for us. We had to ask another staff member for help instead. Moreover, when other customers before and after us placed their orders, he carefully confirmed their menu choices, but with us, he was humming a song and just told us to pay without any proper confirmation.
Because of this difference in treatment, I felt that I was being discriminated against. This was the only unpleasant experience I had during my 10 days in the UK, and I sincerely hope improvements will be made.
That said, apart from this particular male staff member at the counter, the other employees were kind and helpfulâfor example, one of them assisted me when I was struggling to open my drink bottle.
Thank you for taking my...

The woman behind the counter had ZERO customer service skills. She was abrupt and absolutely unwilling to help with our questions. I am a vegetarian so I was exploring my options and also ensuring I did not pick the wrong items.
The kids boxes only has a choice of 2 sauces which is a bit odd, because they have so many more flavours available for their other noodles.
We were told to hurry up by another worker because he needed to mop the inside, and had to sit outside. That's despicable service too, being told to hurry so the mopping can be done.
The food did not taste how you would expect in a place which boasts numerous food awards.
I expect the owner to reply in a sarcastic and negative way, but they need to acknowledge ALL feedback, ESPECIALLY THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK SO YOU CAN LEARN AND RECTIFY THE FLAWS IN YOUR BUSINESS.
It's a shame as we had eaten at Ned's ( I think they were in a different shop but still in the same area, just around corner possibly). It was amazing back then hence we returned again during this trip. We won't be back, and they need to read how many others are...

Recently, I visited Nedâs Noodle Bar with two other adults and had a satisfying experience overall. The concept is straightforward yet appealing, offering a selection of egg, rice, or Japanese udon noodles, all served in iconic American-style takeaway boxes, whether youâre dining in, taking away, or opting for delivery.
Portions & Variety
The regular size box is very generous and more than enough for a meal. The menu offers a nice range of options, including 10 different sauces to customize your dish and 8 fillings, from meats to vegetarian options. Thereâs also a noodle-free vegetarian choice, which is a thoughtful addition for those avoiding carbs or seeking lighter fare.
Starters
The chicken gyozas stood out as the highlight for me â theyâre arguably some of the best youâll find in London. Paired with the light yet flavorful prawn crackers, the starters set a strong tone for the meal.
Overall Experience
The flavors were solid, the portions generous, and the customization options impressive. Itâs a great casual dining spot for a quick, satisfying meal. For me, itâs an easy 7/10. Perfect for noodle lovers looking for a fast yet tasty fix...
