Lina Stores Broadgate Circle - Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in London

I've never heard of this restaurant before a few days ago but this place was a nice surprise. The restaurant is quite large and it was extremely busy, teaming with the hustle and bustle of people, which is an excellent sign that the food quality must be good. You walk in and you're welcomed by staff, I saw a few people leave because they didn't book a table. Before you walk in, make sure you book a table a few days before, otherwise you might be disappointed. The food is amazing, the portions are quite small but I'm quite a large man. I'm sure the food portions are enough for a regular person 😊 The staff are extremely friendly, they took my coat and they explained the menu. I asked for the one that had the biggest quantity of meat and it was extremely nice. The atmosphere is lovely, you feel like you want to spend money here, the lighting is dim and cosy. Restaurant smelt of drains/toilets. Food, very small plates, was delivered in record speed without any offer of pepper or Parmesan - ultimately we realised just wanted to get us out as quickly as possible to accommodate another cover. 90 mins table booking but pestering us by 70 mins - no offer of dessert, coffee or additional drinks - just ok great you're finished, here's the bill ....bye. Plenty more places locally with better food and service who appreciate your custom. I would avoid unless you enjoy eating at speed and your plate being cleared away whilst the fork is still in your mouth and others at the table are still eating. The biggest thank you to the amazing team at Lina Stores in Broadgate Circle- especially to Gabby, Raina and Valerio, who truly made my 30th birthday the best experience ever. I invited 12 of my friends to have dinner with me in the private dining room upstairs and the team went above and beyond to make it to seamless. Every request I had was dealt with so beautifully, including some tricky dietary requirements! The balance between looking after us and giving us enough space that we felt like we were in our own bubble upstairs was so great and everyone of my guests had the best time. The Fiesta menu served sharing style was just perfect, full of flavour, variety and everyone left very happy (and full!!)paired with some beautiful wines and cocktails too!
