This quaint little green hut is outside Kensington Gardens and offers cheap food with great portion sizes and high quality. Me and my friend spent much time trying to find a place in London which was not overpriced, and, moreover where you could find sausage or bacon sandwiches. We came across Luba’s and were very happy to find a place which not only sold what we were looking for but did it whilst maintaining quality ingredients.
The service at Luba’s was excellent. I did not catch the name of the person who cooked, perhaps it was Luba. We were met with warm conversation, and a warm welcome, which, when paired with the delicious food, great price and big portion sizes made the whole experience perfect.
I would definitely recommend visiting Luba’s if you get the chance and fancy some well prepared hearty food, or for that matter a nice, warm drink.

I decided to visit this as it was recommended by one of the greatest icons of culinary travels, Anthony Bourdain, who mentions dining here in one of The Layover series.
Very affordable drink and a sandwich. I had one of the daily specials and have to say that it really was special. Much better value and quality than the nearby cafe on the entrance of the park. The small hut also looks great. The lady explained it was a part of London Heritage. Would most certainly recommend!
