We did not expect to have such horrible experience when communicating with the staff about delivery issues and we would not hesitate to give 0 star review if possible.
We recently experienced one same issue multiple times from Hungry Panda with the delivery not received but marked as “delivered”. The solution provided would always be full refund issued for the previous order while we were asked to place a second order for the same item(s). You may consider it not related to the seller and that was what we thought until today.
That’s why we placed a second order again when realising that our first order was (yes, again) marked as “delivered”. Interesting enough, Hungry Panda managed to retrieve our order today and the driver contacted us to arrange the delivery more than 30 minutes after our order was “delivered”, which took us another 20 minutes to actually get the items. During this 50 minutes the staff from Lucky Tea NEVER even bothered to contact us about the delivery status. During the following communication we realised that one female staff in the store simply marked the order as “delivered” when it was apparently not. Yes. On Hungry Panda sellers are able to mark the order as delivered without any sort of confirmation.
When we attempted to contact the staff from Lucky Tea to cancel the second order, the same female staff as mentioned above blamed us for not contacting her when the first order was not delivered but marked so. We were very shocked that she was asking us to take care of her own careless and extremely irresponsible behaviour. She did not mean to apologise until we accidentally pointed out that she changed the order status without any kind of confirmation (and that was the exact moment when we realised what happened to our order). In another word, if we didn’t make that guess she would just treat us as fools and get rid of what was within her own responsibility.
We were then asked to contact deliveroo, where we placed our second order today with all that happened, to cancel the second order. The waiting time for customer service was rather long and during that period time we received a phone call from the same female staff, urging us to cancel the second order claiming that “as deliveroo is still sending driver, you will be charged if you can not cancel it and the item will still be delivered”. We were rather annoyed as during the communication, as this female staff was ALWAYS attempting to place herself out of the mess as if she had done nothing wrong. She continuously attempted to take over the conversation to explain herself while we were only asking for a solution, which she obviously could not provide. The worst thing happened was that when her colleague came asking about the situation, this staff claimed the exact words that “they blamed us for not being responsible”, which, until then, was never said by anyone. Funny enough, when we realised that this conversation was not helping and decided to end the call, the lady started to deny her claim about us being charged for a second order in the beginning of the call and insisted that she never said so with the exact words coming from her own mouths a few minutes ago.
Either this staff has the brain of a goldfish, or she really needs to learn the meaning of RESPONSIBILITY. Shame on your...

I've been to Lucky Tea a few times and generally like their tea, even though the customer service was never impressive.
I watched the 1 guy that was working that evening shift (after 7pm or so) as he was making the tea and as he scooped the boba into the open cup, he suddenly started vaping in the restaurant, right over my tea. He literally blew the smoke over the open cup.
I didn't say anything initially, partly because I was in shock that he just started vaping so instinctively while preparing the tea, while I was watching, and partly because I thought that maybe he was making his own tea. I gave it some time to see what would happen, and eventually he was done preparing the tea and just waved the cup in the air and placed it on the counter (indicating that he was done) without saying a word to me. I watched him in disbelief.
Needless to say, I threw the tea out. I didn't have the capacity to get into an argument over making me a new tea. The fact that he did that so boldly made me feel I would leave the restaurant even more irritated and didn't want to further ruin my week.
I can only imagine what other unhygienic practices carry on inside that establishment on a regular basis. Obviously, I won't...

He was dismissive, rude, unhelpful and I suspect rather prejudiced as he was as uninterested in other Asian people who were there from customers to delivery drivers.
After asking for 3 options and being told non of them was available, we asked what was available, to which he replied "the rest of them , I don't know" and walked away. My partner ended up ordering nothing because of this interaction an we payed in shock for the other two orders.
The server was also unhygienic and the place was messy. He was handling frozen fruit with bare hands while making the drinks and wiping them on himself. It was unpleasant.
The bubble tea itself we decided to give a chance but it was quite bland and small servings for the price.
Overall, horrible shocking experience and I will not be spending any money there or at any other branch in the future or giving such awful...
