The attitude of the young waiter and waitress are really arrogant. I understood that it might because it seems really hard to book a table at this restaurant and they feel their restaurant quite popular, but after I visited and had dinner at this place, I started to question all the good reviews are cheats.
The food here is pricey, but this doesn’t matter if the taste is good. However, the food here also tastes really terrible. It’s not average; it’s terrible instead. I can tell they provide the dishes with the worst flavours I’ve ever had among all the Chinese restaurants in London over these years. For sure they’ll go bankrupt soon if they don’t change their chef given so many nice Chinese restaurants here.
I feel quite confused and funny that a chef with such an awful cooking level can even lead a restaurant at such a good location. No doubt my mom is able to cook 10 times better than this chef. Feel like being cheated by these fake good reviews and the popular illusion they’ve made up. Never...
Read moreIf you ever see some panicking person running across Canary Wharf, it might not be a busy banker, but some unfortunate guy trying to make it to a booked table here in time. If you want to come here with friends, you better make sure they are all well organised and super punctual. So yeah if you have a late running tube, run into a protest, get lost or just decide to enjoy some London scenery, then don't bother coming because your friends will all be waiting for in the freezing wind for you to turn up so they can get seated. No problem with restaurant policy whatsoever, but the way it's implemented is inhumane and rude. Even if you have arrived and already ordered food for the whole table, they would still rather keep the table empty than let those who arrived sit down. Food was okay therefore two...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Canting where I tried their famous Iron Pot Stewed Goose. From the moment I walked in, the rustic ambiance and warm hospitality made me feel right at home.
The dish itself is an absolute masterpiece. The goose was incredibly tender, with each bite bursting with rich, savory flavors that are clearly the result of slow, meticulous cooking. The use of an iron pot adds a unique depth to the dish, infusing the meat with an earthy, robust flavor that's simply unparalleled.
The accompanying vegetables were perfectly cooked, absorbing the delicious broth and complementing the goose wonderfully. The portion size was generous, making it perfect for sharing with friends or...
