3rd July 2021 I ordered a sausage McMuffin after paying for my order they gave me a number at 10:20 a.m. this morning it took until 1050 a.m. before I was given my takeaway food.
They had far too many staff (3) prioritising the delivery drivers collecting food for people
They had one girl taking orders and giving your number
They had one guy my presenting the food to the people that had ordered he was either very new at his job or had no interest in serving people and was working at a snails pace it was quite disappointing having to wait so long to get food out of a fast food restaurant in complete fairness it would have been possible to have gone into a restaurant have ordered and probably to had eaten most of a meal in the time that it took just to get a takeaway
The female manager Was there on duty she seemed to be working more on the kitchen side preparing food however she did come out and put milk into the coffee machine and she was completely aware of the fact That approximately 15 people we're all waiting at the same time to collect their food also she must have been aware are that there were approximately 10 delivery drivers all hanging around waiting for their orders as well
Also there was a customer that stood for about 6 or 7 minutes leaning on the counter with a mask below her chin breathing all over the staff and into the serving area which is unacceptable given the fact that we still need to wear masks indoors however no one said stand back from the counter or please put your mask on correctly

Read moreShocking service, walked in at 23/11/19 @ 23:45. There was one lady before me. I went to the men’s room, 2-3 mins later I rejoined the queue and the same lady that was in front of me before I went to the toilets was still there.
They have 5 ppl working on the tills and a few in the kitchen. I waited in line 10 minutes before I got served. The team don’t seem to know what they are doing. Have no interest in serving customers. There was a gentlemen in a white shirt who I presume was the duty manager was not taking control of his team or the 10 customers behind me.
Poor leadership and management control, no urgency to serve their customers in a timely manager, team look miserable and have no desire to deliver customer service. When I finally got served I asked the lady why the service is so slow and she just looked at me and literally said nothing. She stood there with a blank face.
Speaking with a guy in the queue, he tells me it’s like this every time he comes. Why he continues to buy food here is beyond me. I certainly won’t be coming here again. Mc Donald’s if you’re reading this, I think it’s time you give this branch a visit. Absolutely shockingly bad service.
Oh and the amount of homeless people using Mc D’s as their social club is unreal, how is the duty manager allowing this to happen is beyond me. They are shouting at each other and begging from the customers, using the tables as beds. Never seen such a badly run store....

Saw a few naughty upsell instances. Would you like hash browns with the breakfast meal? Then adding hash browns as an add on to potato waffles rather than swapping.
Another gentleman was suggested a Diet Coke for his breakfast drink then asked which coffee he’d like? The staff don’t have good English so it’s hard to determine if this is deliberate or a genuine misunderstanding.
They delay taking your order to keep the KPI wait time down again because no kiosks.
I ordered a large coffee for it to be a regular serving. My friends McMuffin was absolutely cremated.
I feel especially so for any Uber / justEat driver who gets this store and if it were me I’d just decline.
Staff members get involved in problems that are not there’s. If an order is being called multiple times the others will stop working and start calling it too. It’s just a complete organisational mess.
I’m actually surprised it meets McDonald’s minimum service standards because it COULD put people off visiting other branches.
Finally, I wasn’t given a receipt so couldn’t leave feedback on foodForThoughts. Again I wonder if this a tactical move from the store so it’s bad service...
