Before I drop this review, I just want to say you may not want to share this food with a loved one. It’s just the two of us... Just like the song lol. So I heard about this spot recently and then it came up a lot on socials so you know what that means... Mans had to go and see for ourselves! I was more interested in the Birria consomé (sauce). You could nearly taste it from the videos, it just looked so rich and full-flavoured. Your mouth watering yet? Did I mention these were jumbo tacos?
We got the 5hr slow cooked Birria beef and Chipotle chicken tacos (smells divine). First bite had me like... Oh! My! Days Cuz! Flaaaaaavours upon flavours! The meats were well seasoned and very tasty, not too salty but a tiny bit bitter which went perfectly with their Birria consomé (sauce). There are two types of sauces available. The salsa was perfect, not too strong but just right, and NICE touch with the guacamole! Seriously! ❤️ The lamb wasn’t ready in time but no doubt we will be back @meatheadmexican for another order after Ramadan (starts tomorrow).
Everything is freshly made on the day. This spot is definitely all that! I highly recommend you go early before the queue gets real busy as I’ve seen some videos where people are waiting between 30mins-45mins. Mad!

Read moreHaving seen and heard the type about the tacos all over social media and tiktok, on our small holiday to london, me and my friends hit up camden to sought out these tacos and try them ourselves. But the experience just simply did not live up to expectations. Firstly, the stall for meathead was extremely hard to find. We had to do several rounds around the whole of the markets before we managed to locate it, and even staff struggled to give us directions for it. When we got there, there was a long queue which was understandable due to the type surrounding the place. We waited a massively long time after placing our order - again, understandable but still bothersome as in that same time whilst 2 of my friends waited for the food, me and my other friend managed to go wait in line for other food items, eat said food, as well as visit the tea store on the top floor. And had the tacos actually tasted good, perhaps this wouldn't have been so bad. we were WILDLY disappointed. The tacos were tiny, not at all reasonable for the price. The meat had zero taste (had i closed my eyes i wouldn't have even known meat was there) and the cheese was artifical and plastic tasting. The best part was definitely the consume pot on the side which is just a huge shame. Whilst i was glad to have managed to try them for myself, I would never go back or...
Read more(4 star) The pulled beef taco tasted amazing and definitely recommend. However, they are not ‘jumbo’ as stated and one portion (2 tacos) is not filling enough as a meal for one, I ordered another and shared this with a friend.
They are also misleading with their board which states on Tuesdays there is a deal as it’s ‘Taco Tuesday’ and you can have as many tacos as you want for £3 each. When I asked the staff, they said they are no long doing Taco Tuesdays yet their board advertised this.
Update: (5 star) I have been to other taco places and am always comparing to Meat Head Mexican, which leaves me dissatisfied with others. Meat Head is definitely my favourite and haven’t found others that can execute the same way! In my opinion now, they are 100% worth the price and I don’t know why I even bother trying tacos elsewhere as they’re never as good!
My favourite remains sad the pulled beef tacos which are so flavourful. The sauce and guacamole compliment it perfectly. Moist and juicy. It’s quite messy so have your...
