Against my better judgement we decided to visit Pizza Hut after a viewing of the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, as pizza seemed appropriate and we hoped to double up on some early 90s nostalgia - back to a time when Pizza Hut dominated the UK pizza scene with it's thick oily bases before better alternatives arrived. We had to queue for a short while surprisingly, it was early in the evening so I assume people were looking for a quick and easy pre-theatre meal. We were unfortunately sat in the gloomy windowless downstairs area, on a tiny table stuck between a till point and a wall adorned with ancient peeling artwork of pizza-themed super heroes. The table was so wobbly we had to put a total of three napkins under to steady it. Waiting staff were fast but impersonal, with ordering done via a QR code and online menu as though we were back in pandemic times. Everything felt geared to turning over tables as quickly as possible. Once we'd ordered the waiter brought glasses for our self-serve drinks and they were absolutely disgusting - covered in fingerprints, smears and lip marks, as though they hadn't been washed in days. I asked for cleaner glasses but the ones we received weren't much better. The infamous salad bar was just as you remember it, tastes have changed but it has not. The produce was of an extremely low quality - browning lettuce, limp cucumber and the blandest tomatoes I've ever tasted - I've had tap water with more flavour. The pizza itself was just as I remembered for better or worse - thick, doughy, oily base and a reasonable amount of cheese and toppings. I found the prices startling, around £30 for a large pizza and £13 for a small, medium no longer an option. The atmosphere was abysmal - the couple behind us were having an extremely unpleasant argument during which he told her to 'sit down or I'll drag you down', not the restaurant's fault - unless the flaccid salad had put them in such a foul mood that they had resorted to verbally abusing each other. It's hard to find much to recommend about the the Hut - the pizza was edible but you'd be better off at one of the many other pizza restaurants in the area. Unfortunately as the queue showed there will never be a shortage of tourists and theatre-goers who don't know any better to keep the place churning out overpriced, below average, mass-produced junk food.

The taste and qualities of Pizza Hut are one-of-a-kind. It’s hard to beat that unmistakable flavor that only the chain can provide – it’s like a gourmet meal delivered right to your door! Pizza Hut offers a unique experience with its delectable toppings, delicious crusts, and variety of sauces. This restaurant chain usually offers more of a range of toppings than Domino’s, which can be good for those who want to try something different from the classic pizza flavors (like a white sauce instead of red). And no matter what you order, the taste is always outstanding – making Pizza Hut one of the top go-to pizzas for people everywhere. All in all, it’s safe to say that both Domino’s and Pizza Hut offers a unique experience with their own merits. While Domino’s is great for convenience and quality, Pizza Hut offers an array of toppings and crust options that will keep you coming back for more.

It was a great! We went 2 times in the 4 days we were in London because it was just that good! The Pizza hut's from Belgium can learn a lot of the menu and the way the pizza hut in London makes the pizzas! It was more delicious! The first time they forgot our starters and brought it when our pizza was almost eaten.. + They brought also something that we didn't order. We told the lady this and it was no problem, we didn't have to pay for the wrong thing. The second time we went everything went good! The only thing that they could improve in are the benches. When we were sitting down it sounded like it was broken and made it very uncomfortable. Maybe glue it down or put some nails in it so the benches aren't falling apart. But overall it was a good experience because the food was awesome! + the cocktails to ;)

Firstly, we were left in a totally unorganised queue with no staff attending to it for ages.

When we finally got our table, we began to order our food. The wait to for the food was very long (although not worthy of mentioning to staff) but when it arrived, my pizza and my chicken were freezing cold. I informed the waiter, who was completely useless. He then gave me some boxes and said he was sorry, I could take the pizza with me though - not sure how an already cold pizza is resolved by an even colder pizza later. However, we had an appointment so we didn’t have time for it to be remade. All of our meals did not arrive together. We had somewhere to be so I said leave it and we will eat it - although not happy and I said as much. We then asked for our deserts to be bought as we knew how slow the service was. Half hour later and there was no desert and our empty plates still left on the table, before we had to ask twice for them to be removed and push for desert again.

When desert arrived, the cookie doughs were okay but the doughnuts were again, freezing cold. I told the waiter (again, useless) and he said he would get the manager. After a long wait, I decided to get the manager myself. One course is already disappointing but two is unacceptable.

When I spoke with her, she told me she made the doughnuts and they weren’t cold. As good as accused me of lying there and then. The waiter came over and started getting involved (yet again, completely useless) before I had to tell him on multiple occasions that I wasn’t talking to him and another member of staff pulled him away. The woman insisted they were hot (so me, my partner and daughter were lying). They weren’t even luke warm. So either they weren’t bought over straight away or the manager needs to retrain. I did not eat them and already said I didn’t want the money back, so I gained nothing from lying about it.

She asked what I thought she should do and I said refund me, but I knew she wasn’t going to with her attitude and I didn’t have time so don’t bother. But after being accused rather than an apology for an awful meal, I said I will be leaving a negative review on every possible platform. And I will.

The service was horrendous today, we eat in Pizza Hut regularly for my daughter and I have never experienced such slow, inexperienced and rude staff. I would’ve complained more if there was actually any staff around to complain to!

It’s not even a big restaurant with only a handful of tables. The manager is unprofessional, rude and out of her depth. The waiter seemed like it was his first day and he was on a different planet. Hardly around and when he was, he walked past our table full of stacked empty plates at the end of it several times. Handling the internals of our glasses with his fingers and not actually doing any work.

I am disgusted with how we were treated today and heard a number of other tables also unhappy with...

What a disaster of Restaurant!

We were put down stairs which isnt a problem. When i asked for some salad dressing, which wasnt around the salad bar as is normal in PH, the waiter looked at me in disbelief and said that he could get me some ketchup or BBQ sauce. I declined putting BBQ sauce or ketchup on my salad.

When the mains arrived my children asked for some ketchup, didnt come. The pizzas were pretty good to be fair and my 2 children enjoyed it. As i lifted the last peice of pizza out of the pan, the waiter arrived with all of our deserts, (ice cream and cookie dough),snatching the pan and put the ice cream desrtes down. I said is this normal that we get deserts while we clearly havent finished the main meals. They sort of laughed and said yes.

By the time we'd finished, the ice cream had all but melted into a mess... I really dont like being force fed and this felt very much like this. Seeing as you have to order via an app, the waiting staff seemed crazily rushed and disorganised. Not sure why, not really that busy especially as they dont need to take orders.

The toilets were absoutlely digusting. Worse than really horrible night club toilets. All toilets were overflowing (i'll save you the description!) ... No toilet paper. No soap. Hand sanitiser dispenser was broken.

At the end we were asked "how was your meal", I said everything i mention above. Replied by a sort of laugh and a meaningless sorry before ushering us out for the next table to come in.

I imagine this is a Pizza Hut franchise. If Pizza Hut ever read this, I would advise you to have a visit to this branch. If you care a single bit about your brand, you will think twice about having your name above this door.

Or more than likely, you wont care as it's so central, it rakes money in for you no matter...
