Very nice place to buy tea, quite hidden from the busy streets. The classics are there, as well as some specialty teas. Just ask the staff, who was very friendly and kind at the time of our visit. The packaging (like a Postcard), and how they arranged them make it a joy to look around and discover the different kinds of teas they have to offer. And of course, the teas taste great. Also bought some for gifting.

I’ve been in twice now in the last year to purchase tea, both as gifts and for myself. I know nothing about tea and have relied on the staff’s suggestions and input. They are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The boxes and labels they’ve designed for the teas are very beautiful, and I love that they’ve posted the origins of each tea on their website. I will be back!

Postcard Teas has been my go-to Tea House for 15+ years. Incredible selection of high quality teas, all checked and sourced by Tim the owner. Wonderful selection of Tea candies, Tea Cups and high quality accessories. If you love Tea it's a must visit whether you live in London or just visiting. The building was originally a Tea House in the 1800's Highly recommended 👑👑👑👑👑

Postcard Teas is possibly one of the best tea shops you’ll ever come across, not just in London, but anywhere. I’ve been buying their teas for a few years now, and the quality has always been exceptional. For some, the price may feel on the premium side, but it is absolutely justified. It reflects both the shop’s sustainable sourcing standards and the outstanding quality of the teas themselves. That said, you can always ask the lovely staff about more affordable options. I remember asking for a cheaper tea suitable for brewing at the office and being recommended the Vietnamese Breakfast. It was so good that it never even made it to the office.

If, like me, you are not usually drawn to traditional Japanese green teas, I would highly recommend trying Supernatural Green, which is pan-fired like a Chinese tea, and Black Sun, a black tea with cacao notes. Their London Roast is also worth mentioning: it is the only blend I have ever come across that made me want to brew it properly in a gaiwan.

Finally, during my last visit, I was offered the option to buy my tea as a refill rather than in the Postcard box, which I thought was only available through online orders. I really appreciated this. It reduces waste and makes the tea more affordable.

Looking forward to my...

This is a great tea shop. I was just visiting London and was initially planning on going to one of the popular tea shops but was recommended to go here by Reddit.

The store is small and not overwhelming and the staff made time to chat with me about my flavor preferences and what I am looking for. They make their blends and only source from small farms. Their packaging is simple and straightforward, and even comes with a reusable cloth tea bag.

I ended up buying 4 teas (the prices are very fair, cheaper than some of the fancy tea shops) and they gave me another one as a gift.

Overall I highly recommend to visit this shop especially if you are visiting London for a real tea experience. I am now at home drinking their London Roast as I type this review and it tastes amazingly robust. I will definitely come back when I travel to London again, and will order online if my stocks run out...

Have an affinity for tea? Postcard Teas is the place for you. Located just behind Oxford Street, this place serves as a lovely tea museum and shop. The various teas come from eight different countries, and the average sachets/tins go for around £6. The best part: there is a try before you buy policy of over 35 different teas. Postcard Teas can also help you get the perfect gift for fellow tea enthusiasts by sending and delivering a postcard and tea of your choice in elegant packaging. Be sure to check out the tea tastings on Saturday Mornings for around £20 as well.
