The Conductor, Farringdon — Restaurant in London

So rude! Never have I ever been to a pub and been treated with such a lack of respect and rudeness. If I could give no stars I would. No wonder pubs are shutting and not getting customers if this is how some places treat their customers. I have been to this pub a few times before and it was always ok. It turns out when there is an event on like the world cup and the place is full they think they can get away with terrible customer service and treating people worse than animals. We were a large party and spent a considerable amount of money, we were constantly being told to move, the bar tab was a disaster and we were very rudely asked to move off our table which wasn't booked because someone had magically made a booking whilst we were sat on it. I work for a large company(nearby) where we have a number of post work events. After this experience I will make sure I tell everyone to avoid this pub as it is not a friendly...

After a tiring day in London, we decided to have an afternoon snack at The Conductor and luckily enough, it did not disappoint. We only tried their sharer sized Nachos and lemonade but the menu looked well-priced . They have great servings and the nachos were freshly prepared.

The place wasn't busy when we went there and we felt comfortable and cosy thanks to its warm and welcoming interior.

The staffs were also polite and accommodating, so that's a plus.

Reservations are also accepted here as I've seen some tables were reserved to someone.

They have a nice outdoor space, too bad it felt cold that day so we decided to dine indoors.

Overall, I will be coming back with friends here because this resto feels like a good place...

Very disappointed with the Conductor. I’ve used this pub many times for events and celebrations and have given them a lot of business over the years. Yesterday they refused service to one of our party at 9pm. He wasn’t overly intoxicated, and indeed the bar manager had to have a lengthy conversation with him demonstrating imminently that he was perfectly capable. All whilst the bouncer lurked menacingly in the background. They should have just admitted they were wrong and apologised, instead they dampened the evening, and made many of us feel unwelcome.
