This is one of my favourite pubs in London and one that actually could be called a 'hidden gem'. I've been coming here for nearly three years, and the atmosphere is always immaculate.

The whole design of the place is super cosy and warm, they always have a great selection of beers on tap, and the rotating pop-up kitchens are frequently great (although I do miss Konbini Kids).

The bar staff are unfailingly lovely, and although I've never been to any of their music or comedy events, they look cracking.

Incredible beer, other drinks, and the staff are so lovely, but the Cue Point food residency is incredibly disappointing. Under-seasoned brown matter with outrageous and quite frankly inconsistent price points. £10 for a cheese toastie, and chicken poutine that was 99% potato. That poutine was also served in two totally different vessels - a small bowl and a popcorn bucket that carried totally different weights - for the same price. Daylight robbery, and a stain on this...
